Like every season I had planned to congratulate fans of the winner and walk away. I did congratulate Shukla fans on his AT and thought I am done with DDT.
But the very next day I found four major leading newspaper India Today, Hindustan Times, Indian Express and Republic world with headlines about “Fixed Winner”. I posted the headlines and thought I am done now.
But each passing day, I kept finding more and more controversial articles, tweets, videos about the show final verdict.

Shehnaaz Gill currently has over 3.2 million followers on Instagram which is more than Sidharth Shukla's followers on Instagram. The Bigg Boss 13 winner has over 1.9 followers on Instagram.

Siddharth Shukla has found himself under brutal attack from big names in the entertainment industry for his abusive and violent behaviour. The latest in the list is Archana Puran Singh of The Kapil Sharma Show as she launched an all-out attack against Siddharth, calling him a ‘jerk.’
Samir wrote on Instagram while sharing a photo of himself with Arti Singh, “Last week of #BiggBoss13 and I hope my sister @artisingh5 wins. I hate to say this, but it would be setting a TERRIBLE precedence if Sidharth wins. No show/game, can be above decency and class. In fact, the show is a test of maintaining your sanity and dignity in-spite of the provocations. If I had behaved, like he abused Arti, my own mother would have slapped me and taken me out of the show. #RespectWomen.”
Samir did not stop here. He continued while condemning Siddharth’s abusive and violent behaviour, “I’m sorry I’m singling out Sid and I don’t know who deserves the most , but I’m against anyone who behaves this way. I spent over hundred days in season 4 and there were hardly any abuses or physical aggression, it’s not that we didn’t feel like it, we just knew how to conduct ourselves on national TV.I sometimes wonder how many girls would be ok to be abused by their boyfriends or told to F-off just because he was upset(right or wrong). Sorry not the way I was raised.”
This evoked strong reactions from his fans most of whom agreed with him. But the most notable comment came from Archana, who’s currently the judge on The Kapil Sharma Show. The comedy show is broadcast on Colors TV’s rival channel Sony TV.

‘Bigg Boss 13’: Kishwer Merchant suspects Sidharth Shukla and other contestants had access to phones inside the houseIn an interview with Zoom, Kishwer, who was part of ‘Bigg Boss 9’, said just like everyone else even she found something fishy in season 13. The actress said,“Well, I really think. I don’t know about fixed tha ya nahi but definitely yeh hai ki he(Sidharth) didn’t deserve to win, which I have already said earlier also.”

I guess not only me; a lot of people had that feeling this season.”

Talking about Sidharth, she said, “Even when he was negative, he was portrayed as positive, so, it didn’t make any sense. People were watching and people were passing judgements, but he was still shown in a positive light. So, it was very contrasting ki kya ho raha hai, woh kya kar raha hai aur aap use kaise dikha rahe ho.”
There have been many ex-contestants, celebrities and a certain section of the audiences who feel that Sidharth Shukla was undeserving to win the show and that the results were rigged. However, Shukla is totally unfazed from all these claims.

For All The Girls Who Fall For Siddharth Shukla-Like Men, We’re A Bit Concerned
“Welcome the most handsome, the very popular, the most desirable and eligible bachelor, Siddharth Shukla.” We are not saying this, but Salman Khan did. During the grand entry of Siddharth on Bigg Boss 13, Salman introduced him as the most desirable and eligible bachelor. Well, he’s a good looking man but just how ‘eligible’ is he?
Every die-hard Siddharth fan might spew hate at us but that doesn’t change the fact that Siddharth needs to learn how to treat and respect women. He has a crazy female fan following where women on social media are head over heels for him. Considering that, we are concerned about all the women who fall for arrogant and abusive men like Siddharth. On the show, we saw him ill-treating Shehnaz Gill and Arti Singh time and again! What’s even worse is seeing these two women support him despite all the abuses he hurled at them.
This might hurt his fans, but if he wins the show it’s going to set a terrible precedent. Not just us, but even a few TV celebs agree with us. Celebs like Archana Puran Singh, Sameer Soni, Gauhar Khan, Kishwer Merchant and Meera Chopra have slammed Siddharth for the way he speaks to the women in the house. It’s disrespectful by all means. Saying things like, “Apni aukat mein reh”, “Tu gandh hai”, “Aisi ladki” or even saying “F*** off!” to Arti is not acceptable. What’s even more unfortunate is to see the women in the house not taking a stand against him.
This led us to wonder if all the girls supporting a man like him would be okay being abused by their men? Is he the kind of person you want to be with? The man who would suppress you and only be nice to you if you agree with him? Sadly, the current season has only celebrated contestants who have verbally abused each other and acted in violent ways.
So, to all the ladies who are rooting for him to win the show, don’t get swayed by his good looks. DON’T! You need to root for men who respect women.

I had planned to troll Shukla, if he would not win after getting so much support from makers, Intruderfast was on my hit list among the fans. 😆 But I was surprised to see world is trolling Shukla for winning the trophy. 😆
