SRK definitely.

Deepika was best part of the film but you can't label her as the sole reason why that film worked. Too many factors come in to play why films work on huge level. CE was highest grosser of that time on release and this feat isn't possible without A list superstar.

It was Eid, SRK in Mass films after long, Deepika at peak and Rohit Shetty at his best. All of it came together to make it a big hit.

Before CE Rohit gave 3 consecutive 100cr films. G3, Singham, Bol bacchan all 3 did good business around 105cr, Deepika's immediate release after YJHD and Solo Eid release, hugely popular lungi dance literally everyone involved was at peak of their career but it was SRK who was face of the film. Reason why people went to watch the film in huge numbers. All contributed to make it big hit, with SRK having maximum share of contribution.

Deepika. That whole year was hers.

Race 2

YJHD

Chennai Express

Ram Leela.

She was the best part of all the four films. (yes, including the terrible Race 2).

SRK definitely will get a lions share of the opening credit because he is the biggest star of the three-him, Deepika and Rohit, but the subsequent business which happened because of the WOM happened majorly because of Deepika and her on the spot comic timing, her dialogs....A lot of factors helped the movie become such a huge hit but at the end Deepika should get the most credit!

So BM success credit should go to PC and Padmaavat success credit should go to RS, Deepu was fourth best thing about both those films.

SRK,,,,SRK,,,,SRK

Deepika was good in the movie but audience saw the movie for SRK not Deepika

So success belongs to SRK but award for performance belong to Deepika,

In both the movies RS dominated with his performance so RS gets most credit!
