I am glad you are back to Pakistani dramas, and I loved reading your thoughs. I too commented here once saying that Ahmad Ali Akbar would've done much better job as Areesh.

He doesn't have the shehzaada vibe to him which the character Areesh required

It cud have been agha Ali or feroze or muneeb

Muneeb would have been a perfect choice, I feel eh could have played Areesh better than Shehzad, Shehzad is not that good in acting I feel

Even in Qurbaan, I was not a fan of his acting , though he was good in Tabeer

I started the show because of Izza and Altamash. But, then really got invested in Daneen's story.

I really had to suspend my disbelief on how easily they wrapped Daneen's story. Like, really? Areesh was mad behind her and suddenly, he didn't care she was going to NY? There were a lot of inconsistency in the characters of Nashwa (am I supposed to believe that she became good this easily?), Aanya.

The only scene I actually liked from the last episode was the scene between Nazia and Altamash on Trust.

Altamash and Izza: I started fangirling over them when I watched the second episode but then, in between their magic was missing. Agree there was a lot of chemistry but I couldn't connect. I feel the process of falling in live was not really shown well. At the end, I did feel happy that they ended up together.

Good show but wouldn't really recommend. Hania's performance was wasted on this show and I can see potential in Usman if he works more on his expressions.

Exactly. He is expressionless and that was the sore point of his performances.

It is his character's demand. Altamash was a guy who used to control his emotions. I think Usman did a fine job in this drama.

I understand that but to maintain the same non-expression throughout the entire show is being expressionless.

Exactly. I really like him but the scenes where he should have portrayed hurt due to the lack of trust from Izzah, him proposing to her lacked a bit of depth.

Recently watched Anaa after I came across a VM of Altamash and Izza on YT. Man their story was like everyone's guilty pleasure xD
Finished the series only for them. They were so good together, I loved their pair

Have read a lot about their chemistry earlier on but didnt bother to watch.but during lockdown one fine day i just started watching anna. It was a good watch,daneen s character was good but izza & altmash steal the show .I swear i watched the drama just for usman and naimal ...after ages i loved a couple so much that after finishing the series i searched all the video mix and interviews and watched them.
