Indeed but it's not her greed for money imo. It's her greed in wanting what her contemporaries have.

Hadn't left for Hollywood and released Chaappak earlier, then it might have work.

Its a combination of things but not greed ...those 10cr for Padmavat and profit-sharing is what's going to enable her to produce more movies, so business-wise it's good thinking

for me it's her collaboration with Sanjay Leela Bhansali over the years is what hurt her career and her PR team

....yes working with Sanjay Leela Bhansali gave her fame, financial and box office success but showed her and presented her as a limited actress...the fact that in Padmavati and Mastani her performance is viewed as the weakest says it all ...don't know what happens but I honestly don't believe that a director's job is to dictate an actor's performance....maybe give them few points if they are new but not dictate or influence

...a director as I believe should take as much takes as possible and choose the best shoot afterward and organically the actor performance will change with each take.....some might disagree and there are for sure different ways to direct but I feel that's the best along with having good pre-production work and screenplay readings with the actors before the actual shoot

....but what Sanjay did in those movies is that he dictated Depaka performance which ended up making her look dead and stiff on screen

This is the custom in the film industry, to demand more during high time because you never know if your next up coming movies will work good or not.

It's a common thing in the film industry.

Chapak didn't lose because of her greed for money. People rejected her movie because she supported some JNU (fake) activists. Instead of making it as a PR stunt and supporting her country actually (which barely these stars do) it would have made enough for her job.

These are a time I liked these two. But sadly Hrithik is a dried up flop actor like Aishwarya Rai. He hasn't been able to have a hit in years!...
