Only in Gul's shows FLs are always poor and without parents....EK shows not all the FLs are poor....like in YHM, Ishita was a dentist and well off ..but poor type was in Pavitra rishta show...both archana and manav were poor....😆

also dont forget even though FLs are shown poor, they will have proper clothes and proper makeup in all episodes....😆

KJ and his hair style 😂...he is looking ajeeb and I am sure he cannot pull off that party boy type easily..he has a clumsy walking style and in promo his walking was like jumping just to give that party type character....🤦‍♀️

I have seen her pati, patni aur woh movie....she is kind of okay...in some scenes tho I felt she just stood expression less.....

this movie of puri jagan is being collabrated by karan johar....KJ seems to be bowled over by VD from AR I think...he wanted to remake dear comrade in HIndi with VD but he refused.....

Its a decent show, socially oriented, romance/love story is secondary. Vidya is illiterate, army widow, her inlaws fake her education certificates and get her government job. Its her journey how she deals with students, corruption at schools like mid-day meals and emerge as strong person. Male lead Vivek is district magistrate, he motivates her a lot.

Hope you are both well.

Been catching up on the thread and was really interested in reading about your experiences with languages. Had figured out that Nihara was telugu (yes through her songs and movie preferences!) but would not have guessed that Rohini was. Not entirely sure why but thought Rohini was north Indian. Its interesting how different countries have so many diverse cultures and languages within. In the UK it would be rare that you would find someone who is born and raised in this country but can't speak English, yet there are parts of India where people cannot speak Hindi (although from my understanding India doesn't have an official language). I think people (myself included) forget how vast India is.

First of all there has been a misconception that Hindi is a national language of India.. it is not the fact...If you go through indian constitution ,Hindi is one of the official languages of India...not the national language of India..yep India is known for diverse cultures,religions,castes,languages...

Generally in South Indian schools , first language is regional language,Second language is English, third language is optional...As Hindi speaking states are more in number, majority of south indians choose Hindi as third language...Generally South indians communicate with each other in regional language within our state , Even English we talk only when we come across the person who doesn't know our regional language 😆...ofcourse in Hyderabad or Banglore, we come across immigrants from various states, so in such cities we communicate in English...

Majority of the ppl tend to forget that apart from Hindi speaking states,we dont only have South indian states, we have east and west indian states too .ppl there too can't speak Hindi at majority...Yep we learn basics of Hindi in Schools but we forget bcz it is not our spoken language...Generally anyone learn anything out of necessity or we learn when we are exposed to it...Ppl learn English as it is necessity and it is international language ,And also bcz we learn Physics,Chemistry,Maths,Biology ,Social studies etc., subjects In schools in English and also we learn all the subjects in Professional courses in English...We have less exposure to Hindi and many South indian ppl dont feel the necessity to learn Hindi bcz emmigrants from South India to North India are comparatively less in number as far as i came to know after reading some news few months back...

Lately Tamilians were protesting to stop Hindi imposition in Tamilnadu ...i mean in Tamilnadu , it was declared that regional language is "optional" and Hindi as Compulsory language in Schools.....So Tamilians felt that learning Hindi should not be imposed/forced as a necessity on them, and can learn if they want as "optional" language but one should learn to write in Regional language first as it is the necessity ...I mean I'm just stating the opinions of Tamilians here...

If i talk about myself i like to learn Hindi as i like Hindi language and also i believe that its always better to learn as many languages as possible..

Idk anything about regional languages of UK ( if any is there) . So pls you should enlighten me about that😆...

BTW hope you are doing good too 😆..
