Yes, RS was looking for new faces, but channel wanted good old faces atleast for MishBir characters. Kaveri applied for Mishti character but they gave her Kuhu because they might have felt she is the best fit for Kuhu. Rithwik is one who got kunal's character straightaway.

The channel wanted the spin off to click. It was good strategy. Honestly speaking the shw would have flopped if not for shah, rhea and ritvik's fan following they brought from the previous shws. Yrkkh lovers will never tolerate the negativity.......and kokila 2.0😆

Their casting was perfect as Shah said. Each one of them fit into their characters😆

haan i understand piya... i liked him very much during his previous show... that controversy was nasty still dont know if its true or not he has a gf too then suddenly all became nasty as fekta supported that guy n released some pics alot happened yaar.. thank god now things are good as he is also in that gang but feeling bad in career wise he has lot of potential n wanted to do films only but landed up here bcoz of the issues..
