It’s not about proving her love is superior to theirs but it’s more about Maya trying to foil the Roy family’s plans to split them apart which is something that they’re actually doing.

Maya hates the Roys and vice versa, however the only person that is between them at the moment is Rudra who loves both of them and vice versa, so yes there is a competition here.

Whenever Maya does bachkand things in name of Mera Rudra, she gives me Maya mehrotra vibes. She looks complete psycho. she used to be lovey lovey in front of Arjun then psycho in front of others. Here Maya jai Singh also show same signs. Blaming mj for harming Rudra is a totally bad move. MJ loves his children like crazy, he will never think of something like that. I just hope makers don't turn her into Maya mehrotra 🤡

MJ does anything to win his games and that is exactly what is being shown here. When Rudra challenged him, he said that you haven't challenged your father, you have challenged MJ. He even kissed Rudra GF to prove that she wasn't right for Rudra because Rudra wasn't listening. Obviously he didn't deliberately hurt him... but...

MJ's definition of love is different.He loves to control his sons . His love is not a regular selfless love which we see from any father. No father does what MJ did with Rudra's gf , he never allowed him to get success on his own, he loves his son so much that he manhandles his wife , whom Rudra considers as his jaan. For MJ, his ego and god complex is everything. When it would be under stake he won't even spare Rudra
