Oh I loved KRPKAB. Skipped the one after the7-year leap because I hate cheesy stories. One of the many reasons I left watch DMG and so many other shows because they became too cheesy for my taste. And that is the reason I don't buy into the romance of the main leads of this show and prefer KuKu's story.

@bold - I hate the cheesy romance too, be it MishBir or DMG. I had to skip through the DMG episodes like it was the plague.🤢

@aqua, if you hated krpkab post leap, you should definitely read some of the posts in the weekly analysis thread on that forum. I would hazard a guess and say that you will want to watch those episodes after that

And I would say you probably might be right but I didn't see the show while it was airing. I caught once or twice because my cousin was a huge fan. I went back recently and saw the show but only post leap scenes because pre-leap seemed too cheesy. I wanted to see some angsty romance. So, I will say I didn't give the show a fair chance and thus my post leap take might be skewed.

I had seen an old interview of Shaheer in which he basically compared the feeling after watching Modern family and the show and that is why I went back.

But I will check the thread if you say so because if it's anything like KuKu, it will change my mind of the post leap phase.

Anyone else want this to be Kuhu's plan for taking over the Mandap?? Because I do!!🙆🏻‍♀️🙈🙈

I love the fact that they are not making Kuhu a villian straight away. They're showing the progression. As @Sam said, she feels if she is going to be called immature, then she will show them immaturity. Asking for the mandap and to get married before Mishti is her being immature. She is insecure and she is scared and nobody cares.

I feel the one person she thought who would notice and realise her struggle is Mishti. She wanted Mishti to understand how she felt everytime when she was asked to share her things with Mishti. She expected (and wanted) her to atleast mention that she is annoyed and that it doesn't matter as she is finally getting married to Abir. According to me, the second part is important because Kuhu knows Mishti enough to know that she won't focus on the mandap part for long. She just wanted the acknowledgement and then she would have let it go. That is why she was preparing the bangles for Mishti because she was hoping to end the matter there and then. Also, she secretly loves being her stylist as that is the only area where Kuhu feels needed by Mishti.

I really liked the bangle scene because it's an unsaid understanding at this point that Kuhu will style Mishti. Also, that small smile Mishti gave when Kuhu takes her hand and makes her wear the bangles. She loves it too. Hayee! Mere cute waale MishKu🥺.

Enter Jasmeet and also, @DQ and @Sense9's on point analysis of Jas. After watching today's episode, I feel like Jasmeet must have played a big role in bhadkao-ing Kuhu against Mishti during their childhood days; in turning Kuhu's insecurity ki chingari into mean-ness ki 🔥.

Now, bohot heavy heavy feelings ho gayi. Let's move to the lighter and happier parts of the episode:

1. AbiNal scene❤️: Such cuties! #NankoBanaKunal wants to give importance to Kuhu now and that too over himself because dude knows that the only barrier in their relationship was our dude himself. Also, soon-to-be hero agreed to propose our baadal se chhupa rainbow but now, he knows ki Abir ke ideas won't work for him. Ab straight away to nahi bol sakta bhai ko ki "Stay away. You just tell me what to do. I'll decide how to do it." to bola aapki shayari wayari mere liye work nahi karegi.

2. Mehul ki MeRul👭: Hayeee!! Female bonding!!💗 Nidhi maami ji ne bohot koshish ki Benba ka right hand ban ne ki but Parul ko replace nahi kar paayi. Batao aisa kyun bachho?... because burai pe humesha achhai ki jeet hoti hai👯‍♀️

And last but not the least... 🥁 🥁 🥁 (if anyone did not get it, this is a drum roll)

3. Kuhu bhabhs ki Ketu🤳: Ketu apni best friend ke nakshe kadmo pe chal rahi hai with all the vlogging. Please Kuhu, dekho Jo Kunal ko dikh raha hai. Dekho apna jaadu apne sasural waalo pe.

But according to his IVs, he chosen this role cause KUNAL is (was) completely different character from AHAAN.. He's very complex, strong & layard character that's why he choose it .. Off Course makers described the character to him very appealingly to convince the actor even they did it with all the actors.. They never give them any hint before that what they'll do with their characters/story in future 😆 and Ritvik is a completely newcomer in this industry, he had No Idea ; how badly parallel lead characters are treated on ITV ; infact he never watched single ITV show in his life 😆 but after his debut he only watched his own show Tu Aashiqui !!!

I'm reading all your analyses here.. they're great! But it needs a lot of patience to go through the episode these days and I lost interest in writing a review 🤔 (Not that I'm a great reviewer 😆) Somehow its depressing to watch the episode and I'm unable to enjoy it or even look forward to it like the past.

Hi mahi! I've seen you around sometimes and you seem very upset with the track like all of us 😆 maybe a little bit more.. I think I'm gonna join that club soon but there's a tiny meeny hope left in me until makers crash it with another horrific episode 😳

I haven't watched Ritvik before yrhpk so can't comment much but looks like he takes his work seriously and tries to deliver on screen with sincerity. He seems reserved in interviews which is probably making us think he's not interested 🤔

Agree that the makers describe the character with such details before the show starts and during the course of the show the character has to take a hit due to channel, TRPs, twists and fan requests..
