Who would be the top actor/ actress if....

What if BW didn't have nepotism, PR strategies, casting couches, favours, powerful people, star families,big fan following a la obsessive fans/ popularity & the others! And if there was ONLY TALENT & MERIT?

Who do you think would be the top actor & actress? Also, who would be a complete wash out?

Top actor would be Ranveer along with Ayushman. That wouldn't change. I guess Shahid would also be up there.

There would have not been a top actress after Deepika for a while...unless there was another newcomer given the same chances but fairly as Alia got. Also Deepika's overall persona, aura and charm made her number one, something that Alia lacks.

In the new gen girls, Tara would've already signed a couple more films and maybe even a record deal. Alaia F too...the girl is really good and she might have got her first film due to Pooja Bedi, but she didn't get the kind of debut most star insiders get.

Saiee would have also showed signs of a promising career. She was good in whatever I saw of Dabangg 3.

The bottom would probably be Janhvi-Khushi, Shanaya, Suhana, Arjun...I am sorry but these guys don't have the It factor.

Kiara, Sara and even Alia would be hustling and eventually Kiara would end up somewhere in the middle.

Ishaan would probably not get a chance here. He doesn't really fit the Bollywood hero persona. Tiger would probably be like Suneil Shetty. The guy knows what he is doing when it comes to action.

The golden trio of females would consist of Tara, Sara and Alaia.

If there was merit, then it would be anyone today who is suceeding without a major influencer/god father.

For me, my top 3 would be Kangana, Deepika, and Tapsee.

Shraddha Kriti and Parineeti would have been more successful than Alia I feel.

We dont know. We dont know how far Salman/Aamir/Ranbir/Alia or other connected people would go without the connections. I believe they would all succeed but you cant say for sure.

Actress Yami Guatam or Bhumi. Actor Emraan Hashmi. That guy had much talent. He is far better actor than many A-list actors like Salman and Akshay but he never got what he deserved. He only got Bhatt camp B-grade movies and serial kisser tag. Those B-grade movies couldn’t get him much further.
