But when the past sequence aired, MJ was thrilled when Maanvi tells him she is pregnant and he himself decorates that room with her. Another from the past is where Diya greets Maanvi happily like how one would greet a child. But in the episode they first meet at the clinic where Diya tries to abort the baby.

I know makers have messed up and made old FBs and new FBs inconsistent. Still, do you think Maya might hallucinate stuff, mixing up actual past with her imagination due to her trauma? Because mentally unstable patients are likely to get confused..

As we saw in some episodes, Maya is aggressive and controlling with her mom.

Sad to say but things have been going downhill since MayRa got married & came to RM...!!! IMHO they have made the same mistake that all the other shows end up doing & that is letting the villain dominate & take over the serial...!!! U do have a point! Those flashbacks could just be symbolic and not the actual event?

It might be the case, but we can't be sure unless Nandini's memories match with Maya's if they return at some point.

When Maya says that marrying Rudra wasn't a part of her plan, I assume writers are telling us that it wasn't their plan either, they just did it so shippers can get steamy scenes, story hasn't moves an inch since Maya's marriage
