Maybe her mom was poor and his father had an illicit relationship with her. You know like every other colors show.

She hasn't been introduced for a reason , to create more ghotala afterwards.

If she's dead then atleast her photo should have been hanging on the wall or maybe she like Anirudhh must have raised her voice against the injustice happening to women and both the brothers either killed her or thrown her out of the house. Who knows unknowingly Anirudhh too might be following his Mother's footsteps.
