Whoever this girl is, and whatever degree to which her claims are fake, she is NOT backing down. Its crazy! After all the major attention from news channels, Colors themselves have come out and denied her relationship with the channel. Yet, they are not talking about the control room scandal (which is mostly what the news media is focused on) or even the final vote count, etc.
I have a feeling this is gonna end badly. Either this girl will end up in alot of legal trouble for impersonating an employee, or pretending to be someone she's not. A corporation defamation case would destroy her financial status and put her behind bars for years. On the other hand, now that Colors has come out in the open and directly acknowledged her, there is more of a microscope on the whole thing now. A major network like Viacom18 would never tweet something like that unless someone upstairs (Manisha, or even above Manisha) was very upset about the negative press. Who knows, Manisha might even loser her job or get suspended if this voting scandal continues, because that is the only objective 'cheating' that can be proven. Everything else is subjective (bashings, treatment, reaction upon violence etc. are all grey matter - but votes are black n white).
PS - For whoever knows: Has Shukla discussed any of this? Has he addressed the Shilpa situation? Anything about that audio tape?
