After a lackluster season 12, I wanted Bigg Boss to take a break and come back after sometime. Afterall, we have seen the likes of Kaun Banega Crorepati and Khatron Ke Khiladi do quite well in terms of TRPs when they took a break between two seasons.
Bigg Boss 13 started well with average TRPs during the first few weeks at 10.30pm slot. The show was good but ratings were nothing much to boast off.
Many fans questioned whether the first finale thing would work. Would Bigg Boss risk the show by bringing new wild card entries when the viewers have already accepted the old contestants? This was the question in several minds.
The makers proved us wrong. The show became more popular and it continued to rake in numbers at a dead slot.
The makers have to be applauded for bringing an interesting mix of contestants. One of the best casting ever and I have to give due credit to Colors and Endemol.
The show seemed biased at times but the entertainment quotient never dropped and hence the TRPs reached a new high.
The makers have done a good job and I would like to appreciate them and hope the next season is as popular as BB13. Thoda bias Kam ho next season me please.
Anyways, it's increment time and I hope the people associated with Bigg Boss get a good hike. You guys deserve it.
