I always found Salman hyping Asim by using reverse psychology.

On twitter there were posts that he is signed up Salmans PR agency(salman co-owns one PR agency) .

He was so bothered with his proposal to Himanshi as he is his ghar ka baccha..

And we Asim is also high profile and well connected persons son ( jn k congress leader posts for him) ..I won't be surprised if Salman knows him by first hand..but second hand they are known to each other for sure .

He is definitely rich, hired one of best pr agency no wonder if he lifts trophy. Even rajat said max scenes when he was voilent were chopped off to protect viewers mental peace.I m not against him.
