How did MJ know that Rudra loves Maya's long hair. Did he keep any bug in their room

We got to see Diya express her love(whatever you want to call it) for the forst timw. She can't bear to see MJ with another woman, even if it's Antara and gets hurt when he moves away from her for any other person.

The director though needs to make sure that Nikunj expressed properly, with the family, I can understand Diya going stoneface, but when she alone with MJ, she needs to soften down, yell at him, taunt him, express more.
