CHAPTER 27

Days passed quickly. Everyone gets busy in exams. They usually arranged group study and help each other. Suryakant many times invite sakshi at rawte mansion. Suryakant and Sakshi now have very good bonding. Jab sakshi rawte mansion jaane wali hoti hai tab Suryakant aksar ghar pe rehna pasand karte hai. Arjun and Aisha are amazed by this but they know very well ki sakshi hai hi aisi ki sab ka dil jeet leti hai. Arjun and Suryakant ke bich ab arguments kam ho gaye the...kabhi kabhi dono saath mein bethte the but koi zyada baat nahi karta. Aisha dono ko saath dekh ke khush thi. jab Arjun aur Suryakant saath hote to Aisha unke saath hi bethti taaki uske bahane hi sahi father and son ke bich conversation ho aur sab theek ho jaaye... Sameer is very happy seeing change in Arjun and Suryakant. He admires sakshi for this. Riya is not so happy by all this. Vo bas sakshi ko kaise bhi kar ke rawte family se dur karna chahti hai but unfortunately usse koi moka nahi mil raha hai. Here karan is trying his best ki vo sakshi ki taraf aur attract naa ho but he can’t stop himself to love sakshi lakin phir bhi vo Sakshi aur Arjun ki bich naa aaye uska poora dhyan rakh raha tha.

Soon exam finished ho jaati hai...Now all can take sigh of relief. All are in college canteen.

Sakshi and Arjun said Bye to everyone and left from canteen. Aisha is smiling.

SAMEER: Tum itna smile kyun kar rahi ho?

AISHA: I am really excited for this party! Dad har saal unke birthday pe kehte hai ki Mumma unka birthday acche se celebrate karti thi... bohat baar maine koshish ki but vo birthday ke din ghar pe nahi rukte iss liye celebrate karne ka moka hi nahi mila...kal kitne saal baad Dad ka birthday celebrate hoga just because of sakshi!

KARAN: lakin tumne toh kaha ki uncle ghar pe nahi rehte birthday ke din toh phir agar kal bhi chale gaye toh?

AISHA: sakshi ne unko kaha ki vo kal ghar aa rahi hai aur unke saath rehna chahti hai so Dad ne kal koi meeting nahi rakhi...I really wonder ki Sakshi Dad ko convince kaise kar leti hai! sakshi ke touch mein aane ke baad dad bohat change ho gaye hai

KARAN: Sakshi hai hi aisi Aisha...jo karti hai dil se karti hai iss liye sab ka dil jeet leti hai

SAMEER: Right!

This side sakshi and Arjun reached at cake shop. They take book and start seeing cake designs and flavours. Sakshi showing different different cakes to Arjun excitedly. Arjun smiles seeing her excitement.

SAKSHI: yeh kaisa hai?

Arjun didn’t give any reply and keep seeing her.

SAKSHI: Arjun mujhe kya dekh rahe ho?Cake... yeh kaisa hai?

Arjun looked at cake.

ARJUN: Accha hai

SAKSHI: Itna phika reaction...

ARJUN: Sakshi tumhe jo pasand aaye le lo... tum jo bhi select karogi accha hi hoga

Sakshi looked at him. Sakshi put the book aside and then turn towards him and looked at him.

SAKSHI: Arjun apko nahi lagta ki cake meri pasand ka nahi apki pasand ka hona chahiye... Arjun mein yaha apko iss liye leke nahi aayi ki aap meri pasand dekhe, mein yaha apko iss liye leke aayi hoon ki Aap apni pasand se uncle ke liye cake select kare... Arjun kal Uncle ka Birthday hai... Apke Dad ka birthday... Aisha bata rahi thi ki unho ne aunty ke jaane ke baad kabhi apna birthday nahi manaya... don’t you think ki hume unhe yeh feel karvana chahiye ki Aunty hi nahi hum bhi hai unke saath jo unke birthday ko special bana sakte hai? waise bhi aap koshish kar rahe hai naa ki aap uncle ko aur uncle apko samj paaye toh iss ke liye kal ka din bohat accha hai... kal kitne saal baad unka birthday hum celebrate karne wale hai... aap poore dil se aur khushi ke sath kal ka din apne papa ko dedicate kijiye phir dekhiye sab kaise theek ho jaata hai

Arjun looked at sakshi and nods in yes. Sakshi smiles and give that book to him.

SAKSHI: so yahi se start karte hai...apne Dad ke liye ek accha sa cake select kijiye...

Arjun took book and start seeing cakes. Sakshi smiles as he is checking every cake and now he is giving suggestions to sakshi ki cake kaisa hona chahiye. After that they go to other gift shops to buy gifts. At evening Arjun also join sakshi and Aisha for preparation.

[EVENING]

Arjun came to drop sakshi at kaul house. Diya opens door and jumped in joy seeing Arjun. She welcomes arjun and trio comes in living room.

SAKSHI: Diyu badi maa kaha hai?

DIYA: Vo Di papa pe phone aaya tha ki mamaji hospital mein hai iss liye Papa aur Maa Delhi gaye hai... bol rahe the ki mama ko discharge milega uske baad hi aayenge

SAKSHI: Mujhe bataya bhi nahi...

DIYA: Aap toh busy thi naa...

SAKSHI: haan lakin mein aa jaati... well baat hui badi maa se? Vo log theek se airport toh pohch gaye naa?

DIYA: Haan... Arjun aap khade kyun hai bethiye naa

ARJUN: nahi mujhe late ho raha hai... kal tum aur Abhas jaldi aa jaana... mujhe laga badi maa aur bade papa bhi aayenge but vo toh hai nahi so ab aap dono aa jaana

DIYA: pakka... maine sab decide bhi kar diya hai... homework bhi finish karne ke liye beth gayi hoon

Arjun smiles.

ARJUN: Ab mein chalta hoon

SAKSHI: Theek hai... mein kal subah aaungi

Arjun bid bye and then went for rawte mansion.

[NEXT MORNING]

Sakshi left for rawte mansion in early morning.

[RAWTE MANSION]

Suryakant is sitting in living room. Aisha comes there running and hugs Suryakant and wished,

AISHA: Happy Birthday Dad

SURYAKANT: Thank you.

Aisha kissed on his dad’s cheek.

AISHA: I am so happy today.

Arjun also comes there. Arjun goes near Suryakant and said in sweet and loving way with smile,

ARJUN: Happy Birthday Dad!

Suryakant is overwhelmed with this. His lips curve in heartiest smile hearing this. Arjun see his smile and realise that how his small gesture makes his father happy.

SURYAKANT: Thank you.

AISHA: Accha chaliye ab breakfast karte hai

Voice comes,

SAKSHI: mera bina breakfast!!!

All turn towards door with smile. Sakshi comes near Suryakant. Sakshi raised her hand and wish him formally,

SAKSHI: happy birthday Uncle

SURYAKANT: thank you

He also replies formally and shakes hand with sakshi. After that both looked at each other and burst out in peal of laughter. Sakshi hugs him and Suryakant caresses her head with love.

SAKSHI: Happy birthday uncle!!

SURYAKANT: thank you very much my princess! Aap hi ko yaad kar raha tha

They parted and looked at each other.

SAKSHI: See Aapne yaad kiya aur mein aa gayi... aur aaj ab full day apke sath hi rehne wali hoon...

SURYAKANT: haan kyun nahi... waise bhi aap ne mujhse aaj saari meeting cancel karvayi hai... kaha jaunga phir

They start doing chitchat. Arjun nods in negative and then said

ARJUN: aap logon ke paas baat karne ke liye poora din hai so abhi ke liye nasta kar le... bhukh lagi hai

AISHA: mujhe bhi

They headed towards dining table. Aisha and sakshi put breakfast on table.

SURYAKANT: Aree aaj toh sab meri pasand ka bana hai!

AISHA: Aaj apka birthday hai... aaj toh sab apki pasand ka hoga

They start having their breakfast. Full Day sakshi spent time with Suryakant. Aisha and Arjun also join them. House is filled with their laugh, talks and tease. Maid and other workers who are working there since so long also happy for them...They give blessings to sakshi for change entire environment of this house.

[EVENING]

Arjun Aisha and Sakshi are busy in party arrangements. Suryakant is seeing them from his room’s balcony. He is so happy today. He goes in room and stand in front of his wife’s pic.

SURYAKANT: Avantika Tumhare jaane ke baad aaj kitne saal baad birthday mana raha hoon... har birthday ki tarah aaj bhi tumhari utni hi yaad aa rahi hai... Aaj mein bohat khush hoon... agar tum yaha hoti naa toh Arjun aur Aisha ko dekh ke unpe garv mehsoos karti aur vo sakshi usne toh mera sach mein dil jeet liya hai... aaj jo iss ghar mein khushiyan gunji hai vo sirf ussi ki wajah se hai... usne iss ghar mein kadam rakh ke iss ghar ki khamoshi aur dard khatam kar diya hai... apni baaton aur muskurahat se iss ghar ko roshan kar diya hai

He heard knock on door and turns. Aisha and sakshi comes in holding one bag.

SAKSHI: Kya baatein ho rahi thi Aunty ke saath?

SURYAKANT: Tumhare baare mein bata raha tha

Sakshi smiles and looked at frame.

SAKSHI: Aunty inho ne meri burai toh nahi ki naa?

SURYAKANT: Burai hi ki hai vo bhi bohat saari

Sakshi pouts and Suryakant smiles on this.

AISHA: Dad chaliye ab jaldi se ready ho jaiiye... sab aate hi honge

Sakshi forwards bag.

SAKSHI: aaj aap yeh pehnenge

AISHA: Maine aur Sakshi ne special apke liye banvaya hai

SURYAKANT: Beta in sab ki kya...

AISHA: Zaroorat thi... come on papa it’s your birthday!!!

SURYAKANT: Accha theek hai... mein bas abhi ready hoke Aap sab se milta hoon

Aisha and Sakshi nods and comes out from his room.

SAKSHI: Ab hum bhi ready ho jaate hai.

They went to Aisha’s room to get ready.

[8 PM]

Its 8 PM. Whole garden is shining with lights.

Some friends of Suryakant start arriving. Soon Sameer along with his parents comes there. Diya and Abhas also arrive there and amazed by the decoration and mansion. Arjun is there to welcome everyone. He is wearing white shirt and black blazer on it. Sameer also joins him. Soon Shree, Liza, Chotu, Riya, shreya and karan arrive there. Mr. rathod goes near Arjun.

MR. RATHOD: Arjun beta Surya kaha hai?

ARJUN: Vo aa hi rahe honge

Sameer see Suryakant and said,

SAMEER: Aa gaye

All turns towards them. All smile seeing Aisha, Sakshi and Suryakant. Suryakant’s friends meet him and wish him happy birthday. Sakshi and Aisha join friends.

SHREE: Sach mein bohat accha arrangement hai

AISHA: Thank you shree.

ABHAS BHAI: Uncle bhi bohat acche dikh rahe hai...

KARAN: Correct...

SAMEER: Yeh toh sakshi aur Aisha ne special banvaya hai

AISHA: Sakshi ne hi idea diya tha

RIYA: Agar grey colour hota toh uncle ko zyada suit karta... yeh bhi accha hi hai lakin mujhe lagta hai ki uncle ne isse pehna hai naa iss liye accha lag raha hai... isse zyada classy ban sakta tha...sweetheart ek baar mujhe bol deti... humare status ke hisab se aur accha bana sakte the...

Sameer is about to say something but sakshi hold his hand and nods in no.

AISHA: Sakshi cake aaya yaa nahi...

SAKSHI: Vo Arjun ko pata hoga... cake vo hi dekh rahe the

Arjun comes there.

ARJUN: Sakshi cake aa gaya hai

Sakshi nods.

SAKSHI: Chalo phir cake cutting ka time ho gaya...

Sakshi Aisha and Arjun go in.They open cake box and put it on beautifully decorated table. They bring cake outside. All look towards beautiful and delicious cake.

AISHA: Aaiiye Dad

Suryakant smiles and nods. He goes near cake. On top of the cake there is a stick “we love you daddy”. Reading this Suryakant looks at Aisha and sakshi as he thought cake is ordered by his two beautiful daughters.

SAKSHI: Kaisa laga cake?

SURYAKANT: It’s wonderful and tasty bhi lag raha hai... bohat hi accha hai

AISHA: Bhai ne select kiya hai special aapke liye

Suryakant looked at Arjun with surprise. Arjun gives sweet smile to him and nods. It’s something he never expected from Arjun. They shared bitter relationship. Haan nowadays Arjun and his relation is changed a bit but this is biggest surprise for him. His eyes field with tear of happiness. Arjun is observing him. when he see tears in his father eyes he also become bit emotional but he knew this is a party time so he put hand on his father’s shoulder and said,

ARJUN: Dad yeh dekhne ke liye nahi kaatne ke liye hai...jaldi se kaato

Aisha candles jalaati hai. Aisha and Arjun are standing with him. Suryakant looked at Sakshi who is standing little far from table with other friends. Sakshi thought this is a family moment. Moment of Suryakant, Aisha and Arjun. They have to cherish this moment with each other and usko abhi unse dur rehna chahiye.

SURYAKANT: Sakshi Aap waha kyun khadi hai...aauo yaha

SAKSHI: Uncle mein...

SURYAKANT: Mein chahta hoon ki yeh cake mein apni beti aur bete ke sath kaatu aur apke aur sameer ke bina mera parivaar poora kaise ho sakta hai... come

Sakshi nods. Sameer and Sakshi bhi unke sath khade rehte hai. Riya is boiling in anger as Suryakant consider sakshi as his family.

AISHA: Chaliye wish maangiye

SURYAKANT: Mujhe nahi lagta ab mujhe kuch bhi chahiye... Mujhe sab mil chuka hai Ayu

Vo phoonk se candle bujaate hai and then start cutting cake. All sings “Happy birthday” song. First Suryakant Aisha ko and then Arjun ko cake khilate hai. Aisha and Arjun bhi return unhe cake khilate hai. then sakshi and Sameer unhe cake khilate hai. after this slow music started and all start dancing on this. All are busy in dancing but suddenly music bandh ho jaata hai. all looked here and there. Suryakant comes in middle.

SURYAKANT: Ladies and Gentleman, First of all thank you so much for coming. Today I am very very very happy! Infect I am on cloud nine and it’s all because of my two cutiepie and my Son!!! Aaj 18 saal baad mein apna janam din mana raha hoon... (looking towards sky) Dekh rahi ho Avantika! Humare dono bacche kitne bade ho gaye hai... ek din tha jab hum dono sochte the ki Arjun ka birthday kaise manana hai, Aisha ko kya gift karna hai aur aaj... (looking at Aisha and Arjun) Aaj yeh apne papa ko gifts and surprise de rahe hai... kisi bhi father ke liye isse badi baat aur kya ho sakti hai... well iss sab ke liye mein sirf ek insaan ko credit dena chahta hoon aur vo hai Sakshi!!! Sakshi jisne apne pyaar se aur acchai se iss ghar mein khushiyan bhar di hai... I wish ki ek aisa saccha aur accha dost har kisi ki Zindagi mein hona chahiye aur mein bohat khush hoon ki aisi dost meri, Aisha aur Arjun ki Zindagi mein hai... Sakshi gives sweet and emotional smile on this and so Suryakant. Sameer gives side hug to sakshi.

SURYAKANT: ok guys!!! No more emotional baatein... as I am so happy let’s have some fun!!

He looked in on direction and says,

And music starts and he do some steps on music which amazed Arjun, Aisha, Sakshi and Rathod family. They never see Suryakant like this. His happiness is reflecting in his actions. After some steps Suryakant starts singing.

RIYA: Main aur kuch nahi janti...uncle aur Aisha jo karna chahe kar sakte hai... I don’t care... bas mein mere Arjun ko iss sakshi ki jaal mein nahi phas ne dungi....

Shreya nods in disbelief.

This side Arjun is lost in Sakshi’s dance. Sakshi is dancing with Aisha. Arjun is starring her. she is looking absolutely stunning. He walks towards sakshi in trance while singing,

(Riya is trying to going close to Arjun but Arjun does not like it at all. Sameer understand Arjun’s situation and goes near them with Aisha and continue song)

after that in between of song some slow music starts playing and Suryakant comes near sakshi and ask for dance with him for which sakshi happily gives her hand in his hand and start doing dance with him. Arjun and Aisha also starts dance with each other. Sometime later Arjun stops and Sameer and Aisha continue their dance. Arjun is looking at Suryakant and sakshi with smile. He is so happy today! From childhood he craved for father’s love and happy family. Today he saw that love and pride in his father’s eyes. Today is the happiest day for him. he wants to go and hug his father tightly. He wants to apologise for his bad behaviour. He starts walking towards Suryakant. Suryakant and sakshi stop dancing seeing Arjun there. He bent down and took blessing from Suryakant. Sakshi also surprised by his sudden act. Suryakant looked at Arjun with surprise. This moment caught other’s attention too. Aisha and Sameer looked at each other with smile.

DIYA: Haan Didi...party bohat acchi thi... Hume bhi bohat maja aaya

ABHAS BHAI: Aur uncle ke dance ne toh dhoom macha di

AISHA: True... wow dad aap ne toh aaj kamal kar diya... mujhe bilkul bhi nahi pata tha ki aap itna accha dance kar lete ho

SURYAKANT: waise maine bhi bohat saal baad dance kiya... college ke dino mein kiya karta tha... phir toh koi moka hi nahi mila

ABHAS BHAI: Accha chiki chal bohat late ho gaya hai... ab hum bhi nikalte hai

SAKSHI: Haan bhai mein bas bag leke aati hoon

SURYAKANT: Abhas beta if you don’t mind mein apni princess ke saath thodi der baat karna chahta hoon

SURYAKANT: Mujhe sakshi pasand hai!

Arjun looked at him with surprise. Suryakant winks at him and then went in living room.
