Chapter 89

Khushi: Shouldi wear my duppata? ........I mean, do you want me to wear it? .......Do i need to wear it?

She raised her eyebrow and asked him with a straight face. She looked at him with loving eyes. He tried to answer in a scattered voice..But he had no words coming out of his mouth. He gulped, took a deep breath and held onto the chair. He needed support for standing up at the moment.

Khushi: bolainna Arnav. Is there a need for me to wear it in front of you?

Arnav closed his eyes and in a very shaky manner negatively shook his head. She smiled.

Khushi then very lovingly cupped his face with one hand and asked,

Khushi: khana khanay chalain? I am a bit hungry.

Aranv bend his head down, eyes closed, still holding onto the chair. She was going to make not touching her very very hard for him. He just knew it. He gulped. Tried to get a hold of all of the strength inside of him just so he could be able to eat. Or at least try to eat something. Khushi went and sat down. He still stood there. She cleared her throat. She put her right elbow on the table, and rested her chin on her right hand. She folded her left hand infront of her on the table. She knew he needed a few moments. She just smiled. She herself couldnt believe that she did that. She actually liked this new bolder nature of hers. This was just meant for Aranv. If she wanted him to realize his rights over her, then she had to seduce him. That is all that would work. And she thanked Aranv for the idea. When he kept on asking her if she didnt want him to touch her,he seduced her. This time it was her turn. She licked her lips andjust stared at him. She smiled and knew her plan would work. It had already been a few minutes and Aranv was still unable to bring his head up.

Khushi: Arnav,are you ok?

Aranv kept his eyes closed and frantically started to nod his head.

Arnav: mmm hmmm...

Khuhsi started to laugh. She needed to help him calm himself down and get a hold ofhis emotions.

She started to take out the food and place it into his plate.

Khushi: voh Arnav, I think the food is getting cold.

Aranv sighed,put his head up, turned around and sat on the chair. He kept his gaze down. If he looked up, he would lose it. For sure! Khushi took out some food into her plate as well. Arnav started to silently eat his dinner. Khushi also looked down, she herself felt shy at times,but took a deep breath and would look up again. She liked being bolder, but her old shy nature would always be with her.

Khushi: ek baat poochoon?

Aranv: hmm..

Khush: Do you have any more work for the rest of the evening?

Aranv: no, Idont think so. Why?

Khushi: I was thinking that maybe we could watch a movie.

She sucked in her bottom lip and looked down. He looked up at her. This was not the khushi he was use to. He was left amazed at her boldness today. Did she just ask him to spend the rest of the evening together, to watch a movie.

Arnav: ah..voh.. um...

Khushi: its ok. Dont worry.

Arnav: no no. I am all up for it. But, please, no horror movie.

Khushi: kyon?

Arnav: because,(he sighed), last time you watched a scary movie, I was able to hold you. And this time, I dont think I will be able to control myself. Please. Samgha karo.

Khushi started to laugh. He just gave her the perfect idea.

Khushi: ok. I am done eating, About to make chai. Would you like some?

Aranv: sure. I will get the movie ready.

Arnav finished his food, and khushi started to move the dishes. She quickely made tea. But just one cup.

Aranv had put on the movie and went and sat on the end seat of the sofa. Khushi brought the one cup over and passed it to him. She then left and went to her room. She grabbed her blanket and came back to the sofa. Aranv just stared at her. What was she up to.

Khushi sat in the middle of the sofa and put her feet up on the other side. She spread the blanket over her legs as well as arnavs. He looked the other way. “dont look at her, dont look. You can do this!” he kept on mentally telling himself. Khushi smiled, she scooted more towards him. He gulped. He then held his breath. She then very gently slid her hand across arnavs stomach. Enough to give him a hug while sitting down. A nice cuddly position for them. Aranv gasped for air.

Arnav: Khushi, kya kar rahi ho?

Khushi: me,nothing, just getting a bit comfortable.

Arnav: khushi,you do remember the no touching na.

Khushi giggled. She cleared her throat.

Khushi: Aranv,you said that YOU would not touch me, I never I would not. Haina?

Aranv smiled and put his head back.

Aranv: I am doomed, arent I?

Khushi: mmm hmmm..

they both laughed. They started to watched the movie. Khushi fell asleep halfway through the movie. Arnav smiled and sighed of relief. Thankfully Khushi didnt do anything more, otherwise Aranv would have lost it for sure. He picked her up into his arms and took her over to her room. He placed her gently into her bed, and very softly placed a kiss on her forehead.

Arnav: Goodnight beautiful.

He went out,closed the movie and went to bed himself.

the next morning Arnav had an early class and khushi slept in. She woke up and went outside. She noticed a note on the table under the rose. She read it and smiled.

“I had an early class. Made tea and breakfast for you. On stove. And thanks for the delicious dinner. Love you – Arnav”

She bit her bottom lip and blushed. She went towards the stove and noticed that the breakfast. It didnt look very appetizing, but she still ate it. He had made it with a lot of love for her.

Khushi got ready and went to her classes. As she walked by she noticed the same girl that she saw yesterday. This time Aranv was sitting down at a table with her and talking to her. The girl looked worried. Aranv was holding her hands on the table. Arnav was supposed to be in class. Khushi was confused. She was running late for her own class,otherwise she would have gone over and asked if something was wrong. She went to her class while Aranv stayed there talking to the other girl.

Later that evening, khushi made her way back to her dorm. She knew Arnav should have been there by now. She went in and didnt see Aranv there. She went to her room to change and freshen up. She went back outside and saw Aranv walking in. She smiled at him, but he seemed a little worried. It was probably something related to what she saw earlier in the day. He smiled as he saw her.

Khushi: You seem tired, let me make you chai. Hmm?

He sighed and nodded.

Arnav: Thanks.

Khushi went and made a cup of tea and his favourite veggie sandwhich. While Arnav went to his room to put his stuff away. Aranv came out while starting to close the buttons on his shirt. Khushi put the chai on the coffee table and walked up to him. He stopped closing his buttons as he saw khushi walk up to him. He kept his fingers on the button he was about to close. He gulped. She smiled and noticed that he only managed to close half of them. She looked down or at the buttons. She slowly raised her delicate fingers, softly brushed against his and started to close the buttons on his shirt. He felt sparks in his fingers that she just caressed with hers. He gulped and closed his eyes. He then tilted his head to the side. “Stay strong Arnav, Stay strong!” He cleared his throat and gathered all his strength to talk to her.

Arnav: kkkhhhuuushi... I can do this.

Khushi: I know.Magar... mujhe haq hai. Haq hai na Arnav?

Arnav sighed, looked down, smiled and nodded. He wanted to hug her, hold her, or just kiss her forehead. She had all the rights over him, and only she would have them. She looked up at him lovingly, and he looked down at her. They both just smiled and kept looking deeply into each others eyes. After a moment, Arnavs phone rang. Khushi sighed,looked down and moved away. She had already helped him button up his shirt. Aranv cleared his throat and answered his phone.

Arnav: Hello,yeah, so sorry. I was just about to do that. Can i call you in twenty minutes or so. Thanks.

Khushi was already sitting at the sofa, reading her books. She had finals coming up. Arnav went and sat on the other side of the sofa. He smiled as he saw the sandwich and chai.

Arnav: thanks khushi, You always know what I need. Arent you going to eat?

Khushi: no. I am not hungry. You seemed like you needed so I made it.

Arnav: yeah,about that. Umm. I kind of needed to talk to you about something. Only if you are ok with this. Voh.. Khushi put her book down and turned her body towards him. He seemed a bit hessitant, but why.

Khushi scouted closer to him on the sofa and hugged his arm. He smiled. He put the sandwich down. Arnav: Voh actually. I have this friend. She was part of our friends group in university. Umm. I dont think I have ever mentioned her. She is a really good friend. She is not studying this year, because she is doing her coop placement. She had to comeback to toronto to submit her thesis and some other paper work. She wasnt able to get a place to stay. Umm. I know that we only have just this much amount of time to spend with each other, before I leave, and this time is very crucial for us. But, she was asking if,

He was silent for a moment.

Khushi sighed and softly spoke.

Khushi: Tom told me about your friends group Arnav. Is this girls name Nadia?

Arnav was in shock. How did khushi know?

Arnav: How do you know?

Khushi smiled and got up. She picked up the cup of chai and first handed it over to him. He just looked at her.

Khushi looked down. She didnt want it to sound as if she was spying on Aranv or digging up about his past. She knew she was his past, present and future. She looked up at him again.

Khushi: Arnav,you already know everything about me since you were Aish. And you know you were talking to me, as khushi. I didnt know anything, and even when I tried to read the old emails, I realized that I didnt know as much as I wanted about you. (She looked down again). I had asked Tom once about your friends group. I have been trying to find out more about you, to understand you more. I even talk to Mom about this now. (She looked up again) Its just that, I know we only have some limited time left here, and I want to get to know as much as I can. As for you friend, or Nadia, She is more than welcomed to come and stay here. With us. Dont worry.

Aranv smiled and tilted his head as he lovingly looked at her.

Arnav: khushi,itna pyar?

Khushi blushed looked down, bit her bottom lip and smiled. She looked up again,stood up a little bit, and cupped his face. She came closer to his face. He closed his eyes. She gently placed a soft kiss on his cheek and whispered into his ear,

khushi: Ussay bhi ziyada.. (more than that).

He sighed and took a deep breath in. Taking in as much of her aroma as possible.

Khushi moved back and stood up.

Khushi: finish your food. Do you need anything else.

Arnav: I wish I could get what I wanted right now. But i cant.

Khushi looked at him with furrowed eyebrows.

Khushi: Matlab?

Arnav stood up and took a small step towards her. She raised her eyebrow. He slowly leaned his head towards her ear. He grinned and whispered in his husky voice,

Arnav: I want.... you ...

Khushis eyes widened. She stopped breathing for a second and stood still as a statue.

Arnav: I said I wouldnt touch you, but there was nothing about flirting with you.

He moved his head back, picked up his sandwich and and cup of chai and went to his room.

Khushi needed a few moments just to gather self.

Khushi needed to freshen up. It had been days since Aranv even flirted with her or even came close to her. She smiled, sucked in her bottom lip, and went to her room.

Precap: just trying to get a nice and sweet update ready for valentines day. hope i am able to do justice. haha. As for nadia, she is now coming IN to their lives. literally. but why? hmmmm...

hahahahhahahahhahahaha. kya baat hai. arnav ki bolti bandh. bolti hi nahin, ab uska pura blank out karnay ka irada hai. just wait and watch. Abhi tho bolti band hai, baad main saansain bhi bhikri howi hongi ;)

As for nadia yes. I am using her as a help. But i do feel bad. I mean, if someone really years for someone for years, and to see them with someone else is painful. I have known many people who have gone through that. It wasnt easy, for both the people. well. lets not get into that. :) She is there to help solve problems, as a catalyst.
