Same here. Initially I thought Antara too might have been a victim like Maya but after last two episodes, we know she is pure evil. I had a crazy theory before and posting it here now. Now this is not relevant maybe. Since MJ, Antara and Diya are friends from college, and we know MJ always loved Diya - MJ and Diya had been in love and maybe Antara hailed from a rich family. MJ wanted Antara for her money but Antara might have been in love with anyone else. Antara probably got pregnant with that person's child but MJ killed that person without Antara's knowledge and married her on the pretext of giving that child a name but in reality he wanted her property. So Rudra was Antara's son from her ex. Or another theory is maybe MJ deliberately got Antara pregnant so that she would be compelled to marry him. Crazy I know but when u some faltu time around u use it for such nonsense🤣 But now after seeing Antara, I am pretty sure Rudra can't be hers or he might be MJ's son who has nothing in common with his evil parents.
P.S - Love ur DP! I used to love I Dream of Jeannie and Bewitched. The reruns used to air on Sony when I was in school.
In Mahabharat, Arjun was a Devputra, begotten by Kunti after praying to Indra, due to a boon she received from Rishi Durvasa. In fact, all the Pandavas were Dev Putras, and technically, Rudra is all five rolled into one. So there are high chances that Rudra is not Mrityunjay's son. Antara can be the mother, but Mrityunjay, not necessarily the father. Because Rishi has a lot of similarities with his father, but Rudra has none. The kind of ethics and steadfast principles he has living in an environment predisposed to devilry is not possible to have really. And he is the only one there, because of his goodness has been dimmed and emotional blackmail has just stuck him this rut. With Maya, there is more freedom in Rudra to pursue the light of his persona. So I may be wrong about Rudra not being a son, but the possibility is definitely there. If you watched Ek Hasina Thi, Dev was Rajnath's nephew and Arnab's son. Rajnath killed Arnab and brought everything under his finger and kept Dev and his mom in darkness and created situations where Dev drifted away from his family business. With Durga coming into the house, he realized his folly and took over the Goenka company which rightfully belonged to him. So Rudra has drifted away from his family business to create his own name, and Mrityunjay very slyly with emotional blackmail made Rudra bring it under his control. Its like Kauravon ne Pandavon se Indraprastha cheen liya, woh bhi dyutsabha ke bina.
For Rudra, to choose Maya over Antara, the reason has to be big enough. Rishi's death is a big enough reason for Rudra to not support Maya or withdraw from Maya for a while. But if Rudra comes to know that Antara has done something really bad which also opens a secret door towards his identity, then that will be big enough for Rudra to cut off ties. Rudra will leave Antara only when the reason is big enough because he did not leave her even when she chose Mrityunjay over him. So let's see, whether my assumptions are correct or not. What if Rudra's parents are someone else to whom Antara is related to? Or maybe Mrityunjay was an employee in Rudra's dad's company and Antara was his wife. Probably he rose up the ranks pretty quickly and caught Antara's fancy, and they had an affair. The husband came to know and Antara and Mrityunjay killed him off and took all his money, and probably everything belongs to Rudra, hence they need him. This too can be a possibility. Maybe or maybe not.
P.S. Thanks, even I used to watch on Sony, and then I brought DVDs on Amazon, and I can watch them. I love I Dream of Jeannie more.
