It is more than that. I think its his feelings for Sana. He knows a lot about Sana. Infact, there was a time when Sid felt confident to ask him for help in convincing Sana. Not just because Sana will get convinced but also because in SR, Sid noticed that Paras was able to guess what Sana will do in nominations, what will make her happy. He has observed Sana very closely for sure. Again, this is my gut feeling which could be wrong that Paras felt more for Sana than vice versa.
