Exactly.

You are pointing towards something that would need some thought... The make of Rudra is, it's very opposite to Antara and MJ. There is every chance Rudra is from another branch of the family. What are the chances that Rudra is the son of MJ's brother? The whole empire is under Rudra's name...so the Roy khandan need Rudra to be on their side.. MJ not earning his empire through legal means, I guess with MJ's nature easy money is what he craves for; money, power without hard work. But to gain all these he needs an army of supporters...I guess this is where the whole of Roy khandan minus the sons, the friends, and Amir come in...

Exactly, that could be one of the reasons why Rudra is still so important for Mrityunjay. His need to control him is so strong. Is it just an urge to control, or there is more to it. I don't know. But Mrityunjay also wanted to control Rishi. But I think the need to control both his sons were for different reasons.

Does he have a family, a life?? He is like a shadow of MJ but very cartoonist character at present.

I don't know about Amir. Half the time he is hovering over Mrityunjay. When does he have the time to have a family.?

Being the only Mrs. Roy matters the most... unfortunately.. another Mrs. Roy has come in, that too with aplomb, with her own image and with the full support of the junior Mr. Roy... what a scene.

Exactly J. The next Mrs. Roy isn't someone who needs to latch onto Rudra for a title. She has an identity of her own as Maya Jaisingh - the celebrated author.

I'm thinking it might be one of Karna's sons, Shatrunjaya or Dvipata died in the Kurukshetra. The reason is Abhimanyu was the son of Arjun and nephew of Sri Krishna. In the case of Rishi he the son of MJ and we do not know how he turned out. Just like we do not know how Karna's sons would turn out except for the one who survived the Kurushetra - Vrishakethu

No clue man, what was Rishi's character in this Mahabharat. We never got a chance to understand what path he would have chosen for himself.

YEs..this lady was there and knew dharma but her hands were tied due to her relationship with MJ. Will she change or will she be like Bhishma staying with Kauvra

We will have to wait and watch for that.

I was totally bowled over with Rudra's pride in Maya, his wife.. he was gushing while talking to Diya, Antara...

I know. He is like agar koi puran hota na Maya par, woh bhi gaa deta. I haven't seen Rudra's lovey-dovey husband's side. He is crazy about his Maya.😆

you may be on to something here about Rudra not being Mj's son. Reason being that he shares nothing in common with antara or MJ. in fact, he is the only one in the family who possess a mind of his own. everyone else are only Mj's puppets.

This could be the reason why makers chose this subject matter, although it doesn't bother me even if Rudra was Mj's biological son.

Neither am I too bothered if Rudra is his son or not. But Rudra is too nice and good to be son to a set of horrendous parents. It's too good to be true. I find it unbelievable. I still saw some traits of Mrityunjay in Rishi, but Rudra never. Kuch to hoga similarity. By tonight's episode, we saw that Antara is also so rotten. How can someone like them have a son like Rudra? At least one parent is bound to be different. It isn't possible otherwise.

Brilliant post Sohini 👏

True, good men have always empowered women. In modern times, the first women to win Nobel Prize was due to a man (Marie Curie in Physics. Mittag-Leffler as a member of the Nobel Prize Committee in 1903, was responsible for inducing the committee to award the prize jointly to Marie and Pierre Curie, instead of just Pierre.)

Along with that, good women have brought up good men who behave like real men. In this case, Rudra might have grown up under the guidance of his Dadi rather than his parents, to turn out to be Maya's light that he is. Rudra stands in dilemma, but he will choose Maya eventually. The new promo gives hint to the direction he decides to choose.

Tbh, the flashbacks were difficult to watch, the pain that Maya/Manyi went through is unimaginable, Ik there is more to come. What MJ did with her took away not only her family, it hurt her belief in love, her dreams, her confidence, her self-esteem, he left her in a void that is similar to the darkness she has come to embrace. Killing someone is still wrong, but how can we judge the pain, the mental trauma of a scorned mother, daughter and sister from the outside that motivated her in this path, that not only destroys her nemesis, but also herself.

Quoting Maya: "Samajhdaar wo hote hai jinhe pata hota hai ki karm hi phal hai."

Right now, Antara is like a 'kachra' in MJ's house, the way he treats her. Her karm was to call Maya as kachra in the past, she must have played a horrible role in destroying her family, got submerged in drugs to soothe her anxiety regarding the same. That's where her phal starts, she was getting back what she did before Maya started taking revenge.

Maya getting consumed by darkness is due her karm of choosing to love MJ in spite of knowing her was married. I am not saying she deserved all the suffering, but that God is impartial when giving us taste of the phal of her karm.

Diya and MJ are not very clear to me, how they are serving their karma, but they must be. As the past is revealed more, things would become more clear.

Totally in agreement. However, they are not showing much of Rudra nowadays... very short scenes and far in between...

The new promo gives hint to the direction he decides to choose.

Dadi's vision was too blurred to even see Manvi, what will she raise Rudra and Rishi. She has no control on her son, instead, she just taunts him. So what control will she have on how her grandsons are raised. So, there are possibilities that Rudra does not belong to that family.

Quoting Maya: "Samajhdaar wo hote hai jinhe pata hota hai ki karm hi phal hai."

Maya isn't looking for a happy ending. She is just intent on destroying everything and everyone and then herself at the end. Now how does Rudra change the plot is what remains to be seen.

I think Antara had control over Mrityunjay until one point. But then Mrityunjay wanted to bring her under his control, so I guess he got her addicted to medications, to release that control Antara had over him.

Maya getting consumed by darkness is due her karm of choosing to love MJ in spite of knowing her was married. I am not saying she deserved all the suffering, but that God is impartial when giving us taste of the phal of her karm.

Yes, Manvi got consumed by love, which deterred her from choosing what is right and wrong. She chose unwisely, and so she was consumed in that darkness. Now that darkness is her strength because that darkness gives her the knowledge to tackle someone like Mrityunjay and toli. But the battle she is fighting is technically the right thing to do, so that is why she found a partner in Rudra. Hence instead of mindless revenge, she has got the chance to pursue mindful justice.

Diya and MJ are not very clear to me, how they are serving their karma, but they must be. As the past is revealed more, things would become more clear.

Don't worry. Maya is their karma.
