I know this chapter is not Good. I have written it in haste. As usual, I have not proofread. Please forgive my mistakes.

Chapter 2:-

A doctor came out of OT 1.

Prerna kaisi hai doc? How is she? Asked Anurag.

'Pehle yeh bataye mujhe ki why didn't you tell us that she is pregnant?'

'What?'

This was the reaction of everyone present there.

Anurag felt he would collapse on the floor. Somehow Anupam held him and saved him.

Veena and Sharda looked at each other.

Maasi got a hope of RB and Prerna's reunion.

'Looks like you all didn't know that... Anyways, we are trying our best to save both- her and her baby. You just need to sign the bond for that.'

No one gave reply.

Mehra- 'Veena ji...'

Veena nodded and went to do the formalities.

The doctor went inside.

Shivi -' I am sorry, Di!!! I hurt you... Only because of me and my words you got hurt! Hadn't I said those words, you wouldn't have rushed out like this...'

She began crying hysterically.

Anurag was lost in his own world...

'Baby? What baby? Kiska baby? Prerna ka baccha...Prerna maa bannne wali hai...matlab Mr.Bajaj is the baby's father... But how can this be...as far as I know, they never consummated...'

Moloy came, near his son. Anupam told him the whole matter.

Anupam- ' Only aap hi Anurag Ko Sambhal sakte hain. Please kuchh kariye!'

A doctor came out of OT 2. Mehra rushed to him, followed by Sharda.

Veena was hesitating to go to the doctor for updates about Rishabh's health.

Sharda- ' Mera Rishabh Kaisa hai?'

' He is fine Ma'am. Don't worry. We will inform when he regains his sense. We are shifting him to the VIP ward.'

Sharda heaved a sigh of relief.

Meanwhile...

Kukki- ' Mujhe Mamma and Papa ke paas Jaana hai...Please...'

' Aise zidd nhi karte baccha! Mummy Papa bahar gye hain for work..Aap achhi bacchi ho na?'

Mahesh- ' Agar aap acchi bacchi hongi na, toh main aapko ek cute teddy doonga!'

Kukki smiled and engulfed him in a long, adorable hug.

Nivi was passing through the room of PreRish when she felt the sudden urge to peep in their room.

' Aaj koyi nhi hai. I must see what's in their room.'

She went inside the room.

She searched through the drawers and found a file with some reports.

A report was like this...

Ultrasonography Reports.

Mother's name- Prerna Rishabh Bajaj

Father's name- Rishabh Bajaj

Foetal condition - Good overall...

Nivedita couldn't believe her eyes.

And this girl told us that she truly loves Anurag? Chiii. Thank God Anurag didn't marry him. She is 3 months pregnant and... Chiii...

' Ma!!!'

And the next moment, the whole house witnessed Nivedita Basu Sengupta running with the reports to her Mom.

Mohini's eyes popped out.

' Impossible!'

' Just see Mom! Characterless Woman! Slept with that Bajaj's Brat when... Yuck!!! '

' Moloy Ko ghar aane do... Aaj hi main iss manhoos ladki ko bahar fek dungi!'

She was about to say something more, when they noticed Anurag coming in the house, looking devastated and defeated.

He was chanting these words like a mantra, 'Pyaar ka dhokha.... Mere saath Dhokha hua hai.'

'Onu??? Yeh kya bol rha hai tu? Aur aisi halat Kyun banayi tune? Chal room mein!'

'Maa.. Prerna ma bannewali thi...uss Rishabh Bajaj ke bacche ki Ma!'

Nivedita and Mohini looked at each other in shock.

Debu Da took Anurag to his room.

'Anupam, Anurag Ko kaise pata chala ki Prerna is pregnant?'

Anupam sighed and told them about the happenings in the hospital.

'Unhe hospital mein hi rehne do...'

'Don't be so mean, Nivedita. I don't think this child is of Bajaj.' said Anupam, unable to connect the dots.

'Then who? Anurag's?'

Anupam wasn't able to answer as during that time only, the door bell rang.

Kukki saw Anurag and ran to him saying,'Bhaiya! '

Anurag gave a sad smile and asked ,' Kya hua beta?'

' Bhaiya mere mumma papa? Where are they?'

' Your mumma papa are outside, Kukki. They will come soon, with a new friend for you.'

Kukki smiled and leapt in joy. Mahesh and Tanvi, who were behind the little girl, where shocked. They looked at each other....

Tanvi called her mom.

'Mom, Prerna Ma baane wali hai Kya? How's this possible? She didn't love...'

Sharda interrupted her and said,' Main yeh aakhri Baar bol rhi hoon ki Tumhaare Mann mein Rishabh ki Lene Jo khayal hai, unhe tum bhool jao.'

Tanvi began pondering what to do. It isn't that she hasn't noticed the comfort, closeness and budding love between PreRish. She kept thinking what her mother said and what she saw with her own eyes.

' Doctor, Prerna kaisi hai? And how is the baby?' Veena asked.

' Mrs. Sharma, Mrs. Bajaj is out of danger, but needs to be under 24 hours observation. Sorry to say, the blood clot on her head may cause much harm. And the condition of the Baby depends on the mother.'

Veena collapsed on the chair.

She buried her face in her hands and cried.

.....

Few hours later...

Doc- ' You can meet Mr. Bajaj, but one at a time.'

' Sharda ji, aap jayye.' said Mehra, softly.

Sharda nodded and went inside the cabin.

She felt she would break into pieces.

Her heart ached at the sight of Rishabh.

Oxygen mask was on him, various drips attached to his body.

' Rishabh...Mera Baccha!'

Sharda broke down in tears and collapse on the chair beside him...

' Maasi...Prerna kaisi hai...And baby?'

With much difficulty, Rishabh asked.

Maasi was speechless.

Precap:-

' Sorry to say, but Mrs.Bajaj has lost her memory.'

Rishabh heard this and was devastated.

' But, she remembers Mr.Bajaj as her husband.' said the doctor.

Elsewhere, Moloy shares his fears with someone.
