Frankly speaking how are we sure that votes won't be manipulated?

We can never be sure either ways. But that's the way the winner is decided, so that should be priority. I don't know if audited votes can be tampered with - may not be as easy!
What makes me believe they can't manipulate the final results so easily is that if they could do it, they wouldn't work so hard to whitewash the opponents and interfere in the story telling and damage the quality of the show. They'd just go ahead and make him the winner right at the end.
But one thing is for sure, if it can be manipulated, the channel will do it.
