I think this serial is all about changing that perception.

In indian TV serial that can happen too.

In indian TV serial the protagonist of a show can be flawed *here outright gray or rather say a killer too*.

Someone somewhere has to start! Thats why makers came up with this concept, however cliched it may sound.

Otherwise Indian TV serials will always be about vulnerable sacrificing women who just act in favor or world peace

Father-in-law is no relative, pati ka baap so needs to call something, society has given a name. Strangers are better than FIL/MIL or any in-laws. Anyone can marry anyone as long as they aren’t baap/brother.

Regrading Mahabharat and Draupadi

Draupadi did not want to marry alll 5 pandavas

She only married Arjuna legally in swayamwar

But Kunti made her wife of all 5 pandavas with her utterance

In those times mothers words like Gods words so pandavas followed mothers order

As kul vadhu Draupadi too followed Kuntis orders

That does not mean Draupadi loved all 5 pandavas

She loved arjuna only and was devastated when he married subhadra and got her home

She did not get upset when other 4 pandavas married other women like bheema, nakul, sahadev etc

I think Yudhistra never married anyone other than draupadi

Rest all married so many women

But draupadi was their first and main wife and Chief Queen for all purposes

Sadly draupadi's 5 sons from 5 pandavas were killed by ashwathama after war as they slept in tent

Even dhuryodhana scolded ashwathama for killing those 5 pandava kids in sleep

But draupadi loves only arjuna not other 4 pandavas

Only circumstance forced her to marry 4 more brothers of her husband Arjuna

And no women did not marry many men even 5000 years back

Only men married many wives till a few hundred years back in AD

Women married only if husband died may be not otherwise

In crime patrol, some times back I saw a story where a girl married to all the brothers as per their custom....somewhere in himachal or uttarakhand...I do not remember...she loved only one of them,so one of the brother killed her out of jealousy....so...it is still existing in India.

Maya is not weded wife of MJ so it's fine if she married rudra.

So many real life examples are there is haryana....where incest is common...if we call this as incest.

It's a bold story....but o e good thing is that all are doing fabulous acting,MJ,maya,rudra,antra every one.....love the show.

Yup, that is fraternal polyandry (a woman marrying 2 or more brothers )and still happens in some places in India

Maya and Manvi not being same and being twin sisters could have been thrilling too .But that could not have made us feel Maya's pain as deep as now .
