Correct! Working in the US corporate world, I agree that there's strict policies protecting us but there's still a whole lot of harassment happening. Male coworkers sometimes pass on crude & inappropriate comments as a "joke", they try to cozy up to you or stare at you in a creepy way, and hell of a lot more. The good thing.. no the great thing is that 911 is on our speed-dials should things get out of hand.

That's what India needs. Stricter law-enforcement.

Society does let these kinda men live among...and let them scot free no matter whateva heinous crime they commit

I wonder if Antara knows the real story.. the truth about MJ! She seems oblivious to his relationship with Diya in her own house, she may not even know anything about what happened to Maya.

Aise kaise koi pyaar mein itana andha hota hai yaar? Yuck..

Its like u hav to do double work to prove urself while many men party and get ratings. Also some men boss treat u like bubble head with no intelligence and ability to take decisions. Its damn tough for a lady to be in corporate world

Agreed! We have to work twice as hard to prove ourselves half as good as the guy. The pay-inequality, the gender discrimination in climbing the ladder, is just so unfair.

In this case, both Diya and Antara turned a blind eye to Maya's suffering which is more disgusting than MJ's deeds. And that's why I disagree with you that the family has no option. In the case of Hillary and Chelsea Clinton, they were both public figures and they would have been able to stand up for Monica but they chose not to. They had an option; they just didn't opt for it. I do agree that most Indian middle class women don't have that much power or support to stand up to their husbands/in-laws because a) they are conditioned to bow down to their pati-pameshwars and b) they don't have anywhere else to go to as their own family's doors close on their faces the minute they're married off.

In case of Tanushree and countless other actresses, yes! The perpetrators should be punished with the severity of their crimes but the law-enforcement is to be blamed there.

Hmm 9 out of 10 not 10 out of 10 go scott free in india

have you seen any man go to jail for sexual harassment to date

instead girl will only lose job like tanushree dutta case

so that sends message fall in line or lose job for life

so all girls are silent

and all are not super rich to sit at home and enjoy life away from harassment at work

hillary herself has many shady dealings so she will support bill clinton, that must not be first case

with antara its diff, her husband can dump her and her kids anytime and stop all economical support too so may be for kids sake shes suffering MJ

Most indian women suffer men at home because society does not like divorced women they target them so bear husbands infidelity and domestic violence silently or by taking drugs and drinks like antara

Shutting parents door, parents do not shut door its brothers and their wives who shut door usually. Parents are forced by sons to shut door to sisters that are in trouble. I doubt any parent can shut door on own child ever. Parents after 50-60 years become dependent on sons, so they cannot do anything. In india you are economically dependent on children after retirement usually very few parents can save enough with such small salaries they have earned for 30-40 years. Sons are sacred if sister comes home she and her kids will become burden on brother. Thats why doors are shut.

Diya is interesting case, shes not victim like antara, shes perpetrator with MJ partner actually in crimes

May be but very less percentage, they support when young may be to go to school, college or parties but what abt later in life big issues. very rare support comes. Actually prev gen brothers were more supportive than now, those born before 1980s were more supportive than todays new gen. I am saying although i belong to todays gen that prev gen was better family wise support. There was humanity and love between siblings and parents unlike now all are after their own benefits. In olden times elder brothers took care of financing 4-5 younger siblings education, food etc. Today which person will pay for 4-5 siblings food, rent, education, clothes etc. As soon as they marry they will seperate or when they get job after education they will run off to new city.

honour killings by fathers and brothers is happening still even in cities is it not?

brothers are protective only till they marry and have family of own

after that if sister leaves husband and comes home 80% will not be supporting to let sister or her kids stay in parents house, because they feel she will become burden on them financially. now its more nuclear families not joint family to support sisters. Even if brothers want wives will not allow to help. Its more like my spouse and kids nuclear family. Nowadays many sons not ready to take care of parents where they will support sisters? Only 20% may be good not all. If they are not rich or do not have job than may be they will live with parents. If they are well off and can afford usually ppl want nuclear family only. even in big cities its tough to find brother or uncle or relative male ho support a girl if shes harassed or leaves husband house.

Look at rudra without even calling parents and telling he married. Atleast tell even if they do not agree its ok. Tell and marry. Now hes only being fooled he thinks maya is someone who shes not. Hes fooled by MJ too he thinks MJ is someone else he is not. Today money is everything above relations. If you are financially independent you take your own decisions and do not include sibling, parents, grandparents etc. Look at rishi he never told who his girl friend was to MJ and rudra hes dead now. If only he had told he would be alive.

Just come to Kerala the ravaging case of Bhavana molestation is still in court while the accused actor got married second time and have a baby in his second wife. His first wife left him citing domestic violence still the second wife has no qualms marrying him. So ye sab common hai.

His first wife left him because he was having affair with his second wife and that too for a long time.. he is the reason why the second wife got a divorce from her first husband..

Any ways the first wife was always way out of his league.. dont know why she married him in the first place.. after the comeback she does way better movies than him..

@spfan I hav read he had mentally harassed his first wife to the point even she did a suicide attempt.EMA would hav been last straw. Agreed a versalite actress of her times she might hav received multiple national awards if she had not married him. I think it's age. She was just 20 when she married him.

  • Regardless of whether MJ was having an affair with Maya/Manvi or he sexually assaulted her, his wife has been OK with his actions all this time and still loves him?
  • The fact that the entire family knows about Maya means that they all conspired to destroy that poor girl's life. Are they ALL criminals and have no conscience what-so-ever?

What kind of freaks are they?!

A brief post with the entire story👏! Excellent.🤗

Now the human weaknesses, the vulgar desires, the selfish goals are going to play a vital part in ruining the young writer Manvi's Singh's life! The actual story started now with facts and factual facets!

The entire family is criminals it seems except the kids Rudra and Rishi.
