Why the double standards?

P.s. I am an Asim supporter who doesn't support Asimanshi at all. These are my views and kindly avoid name calling here.

Yesterday Rashami/ Devo revealed that she lied to know about Arhaan's marriage, just to defend him in front of Salman Khan and the world. She should not have and that was wrong but she did it for the guy she loves and I understand where she is coming from.

So when Asim tries to defend Himanshi, the woman he supposedly loves, he becomes a backstabber, a liar, etc etc ( insert all other bad words here)

I genuinely believe that Himanshi is exploiting his fame and was there for her personal vendetta. She should not have brought in Rashami's personal life on National Television just like Arhaan should not have exploited Rashami.

What I genuinely don't understand is that if Rashami makes a mistake in love she is termed as sweet and naive. But when Asim makes a mistake of defending the woman he loves in something she was clearly wrong in then he receives all the negative terms there are.

Same thing for which Rashami gains sympathy, Asim receives backlash.

Why so? Take it as a genuine question and not some mocking of any sort. Why does the moral compass is so different for two people.

Also, let's keep in mind that Rashami has more experience and worldly- wisdom. She understands the nuances of relationship better than Asim who is clearly an immature when it comes to relationships. If she can be played than why can't be Asim who is locked in an isolated house where emotions are clearly heightened?

I am talking about the forum not Asim or Rashami😆.

What Asim did was absolutely wrong and I don't defend it at all. Period. He should have let Himanshi and Rashami sort it out.

Because For some weird reason people here want to uphold Asim to some high pedestal.

I’m not digressing that Asim was wrong for yelling at Rashmi, he was. But Asim has always been like that. He defends his friends and people he’s close to whether they’re right or wrong- did it when he was with Shukla, did it for Himanshi again in the task( where she won captaincy wrongly).

Also I’m not an AsiManshi shipper at all, but most people especially early on in a relationship (esp the present one where Asim has been blamed by SK for ruining HK’s life and reputation) will speak up for their GF/BF over their friend.

We have an oustide perspective and can see the right from wrong- but he clearly can’t, coz he’s in love and then under immense pressure to make it right for HK- he needn’t have yelled at Rashmi, but Asim going overboard is nothing new. He’s done itv several times in the past- only difference was when he was standing for Rashmi- it was okay. Now that he’s standing for his GF- it’s completely wrong and he’s a terrible human being.

Also yes the double standards. Rashmi gets sympathy for going wrong in love but Asim gets backlash for the same. Asim is 26- compared to Rashmi who’s got more life experience and yet her mistakes in choosing the wrong person are forgiven but Asim’s are highlighted and he’s labelled all sorts of words.

People make mistakes in love guys! Relationships are complicated! People choose their partners over their friends a lot of times! Doesn’t make them terrible people. Just makes them human!

I think the problem most people had with yesterday's episode was that Asim got really defensive for Himanshi, when Rashmi was not even accusing her of anything and spoke to her in a manner that he shouldn't have.

Asim is not a backstabber man, he more payar main bawla than anything else. 😆

I am sorry but Rash too has discussed her personal life multiple times on the show and has admitted herself that while they both initially denied dating each other, they were going to do a love angle on the show together. That did not justify bigg boss dragging her personal life on the show Or the fraud Arhaan was doing at all!. I have always been against the private lives of contestants being discussed on the show.

Asim said the jo nahi krna chahiye thing in the clip not yesterday and told her when you sit me and vishal i say the same to your face too. At that time Himanshi had been bashed (sometimes justifiably) throughout the show and she was telling him I came as your connection and look now. He wanted to absolve her of any wrong doing and didn’t want the topic to be stretched but he did tell Himanshi you should not have spoken about this. So he got really over zealous with his defence which imo was wrong but he was trying to defend someone he loves so I understand where he came from. I really hope he makes amends and apologises to Rashami or has a proper conversation with her atleast. Such an over zealous response was not needed but the pressure had be on him throughout.

That's what I was saying in some other post. Many here and probably elsewhere too are mostly Rashmi fans turned RaSim fans after Asim joined Rashmi. Now that he said things against her and is defending Himanshi, he becomes automatically the backstabber. Now that Rashmi fans are mad at him, other fandoms are taking advantage of it. It doesn't help when Salman himself bashes him for stupid reasons. So right now he is the worst contestant.

Because rashmi fans new target is asim

I won't say all but some r behaving very weird.

They believe asim is their competitors for top two. Asimians r competiting with shukla for top position n rashmi fans r competiting with asim for runner up it seems. For some fans it looks like they have lost hope to win against shukla so at least win against asim.

Bashing asim for ambiguous statements , love life when no one claimed he cheated them.

Now bashing , portraying negative image doesn't matter fans have already chose sides n it's just their dedication willl play the role. Hardly anyone will switch side or withdraw support at the last moment.

I didn't liked asim blind support to HK either but I'm confused rashmi said she felt bad that HK told to others. But asim said he told her in ears that means she knew that HK told him.
