It was too obvious. Siddharth is way smarter than everyone thinks. If anything Shahbaz is the clueless one. In all the episodes, never did Pahira conspire against Siddharth except in the early days when they hated him.

Personally it’s cause Shukla knows Paras and Mahira are weak compared to him in voting trends. He wants to take them to the finale so he definitely has the best chances of winning.

This is another reason why he never supports or saves Shehnaaz in nominations. He’s always either saved Mahira or Aarti.

Secondly he doesn’t care if Pahira are trying to break Sidnaaz up. He himself knows Sidnaaz natak is only till BB13.

If anything it should show Shehnaaz just how little Shukla thinks of her opinion or values her anymore than warming his bed. (As crude as that sounds — what happened to all that warning he got from SK about staying away from Shehnaaz. Ayena wapis kumbal mein?).

Also if he takes Pahira sey panga he will have no team left and Shukla always needs yes men in his team.
