Completely agree! For that matter our attitude towards Aarti and Vishal changed when we learnt about their past and what they had to go through. It’s better to understand people and their actions once you know what experiences and past they come from. Very easy to judge people on their face. We don’t know what they hide behind it.

Besides when in love nothing and none else matters. At this point Asim is a young man who cannot see anything beyond HK. I’m sure once he is out he will be able to rationalize himself better. Imagine being locked in a house for 5 months with no access to the outside world. I wonder what it does to your thinking ability.

that's cause Himanshi informed him Asim's family didn't like her. Asim is saying these things that he doesn't give a damn about his family when it comes to Himanshi.
