Kajol not included? I think she was quite famous in Tamil industry cos of her work there. Otherwise across all south the most popular actress I believe is Aish.

Sridevi was the only actress who had fans panindia. Katrina acted in a Malayalam movie and it flopped badly even Sonakshi, DP, kangana ( though it felt like a moving caricature) acted in South movies which didn't made any impact in box office.

Alia , with that physique , I am not sure would make any impact as south people prefer woman as heroines , it could either like Tamanna in Bahubali or who knows she might look like a woman and might get acceptance in South as well.
