This was a pretty slapstick comedy episode overall😆.....but I have some random thoughts nevertheless.
BM finally summarized how the family has been unfair to Mishti in not being able to erase the "ehsaan" tag from her mind. She has constantly been made to feel like she should be grateful for their benevolence in adopting her rather than her genuinely feeling a right to be part of the family.
Mishti has been this interesting paradox wherein she has a strong/independent thought process that she raises many times but ultimately holds back because she feels vulnerable in front of her adopted family.
Finally BM remembered today that Abir was the one who taught Mishti to differentiate between pyar and ehsaan and to jataao haq and apnapan over her family, her loved ones.....to not consider herself a burden to anyone.
I liked the analogy BM used of how they may have taught Mishti to fly but they didn't give her the SPACE to fly......instead they caged her to them and never seemed to realize that she has started to consider herself an obligation to them that she must fulfill all her life to repay them for adopting her. BM's anger and frustration was on point even if the rest of the family remained clueless. lol
Anyways, so finally Mishti flies away.....or rather, drives away......runaway bride on a scooty😆.....3 Idiots reference on point despite the poorly CGI-ed road backdrop to show she's "driving"😆
On the other end, Abir is dealing with random sadhus and doctor fussing over him😆.....this is when the episode actually starts descending into the mad vibe of the climax of a Priyadarshan comedy😆.....kahin se bhi kuch bhi ho raha hai.....doctor ko report mil gayi, he's randomly trying to inject Abir with some "strong medicine", Abir suddenly wakes up, Saadhu randomly finds earring and hands it to him and on and on😆.....all this while, Mishti is still running around on the scooty and trying to use that phone tracker to find Abir😆.....only to just miss him and he takes off in an AMBULANCE to go find HER🤣
But in all this madness, a few noteworthy things:
1) Mishti can suddenly drive a scooty....I have no idea when she learnt this cuz last they showed her, she couldn't and she actually rolled it over when she was searching for Abir during that road trip of theirs.....lol
2) Everyone is trying to outrace everyone🤣.....Mishti ab smart ho gayi hai and realizes that she needs to get to Abir before Meenu lest another MU arise😆.....meanwhile Nishant and Meenu want to get to Mishti and Abir first for their own reasons....lol randomness.
3) Speaking of randomness.....token scenes of Kuhu being shown "worried" for Abir while being excited for NishMish ki shaadi are beyond lame and do nothing to make her "worry" for Abir believable....so please just stop, writers. This and the token oscillating from Nishant were both super lame.....as if his random guilt pangs of "maybe I shouldn't have left Abir....oh but it's ok I'm happy here with my family" bits were gonna do anything to redeem him.
But yeh toh standard hai is show mein I guess to pretend these are "layered" characters😆....like Meenu supposedly is "layered" and "grey" too🤔
Abir's basic character sketch has been of a banjaara ascetic types....duniya ki moh maaya se pare....it was Mishti who made him want to be home, build a home for the first time. Watching this seemingly random turn of events unfold, I wonder if that is what the intent was with making the sadhus find him.....sadhus are ascetics....they found him, revived him, clothed him....in a sense bringing him back to his ascetic self....he even took off with one of their cloths around his neck....so kind of becoming a banjaara again just like his original intro.
I suspect that cloth will be used to do his gathbandhan with Mishti when they marry in the mandir😆.....
That said, looks like more family tamasha on the way since they all found AM on top of the AMBULANCE in front of the mandir😆.....the writing in this show is really mad sometimes😆....one can only hope that Nishant ka faltu tamasha also gets exposed since they've all landed up at the same spot.
There is no point delaying AM ki shaadi any longer....and they are in their fav. mandir.....the symbolism of getting them married in that mandir would be apt for the situation now. I dunno if they can reboot back to starting all ceremonies for them again at this point. 😆 .....bas shaadi karva do inki ab.
I loved it.
Any day i would prefer this kind of comedy rather than that Gaajjjjj Giregiiiiii episode.
