I completely agree with you. Since day one, they’ve established her character as someone who is absolutely in love with Rudra and was extremely vocal about it. Along with the fact that MJ and everyone around her kept feeding that notion in her head that he would come around and reciprocate... sure, it made her appear as hopeless and someone with no self respect but then he kept reassuring her that he wouldn’t run away from the commitment.

Though they’ve reduced her to someone with no ambition since she was a girl (I blame the makers for this butchery) but love makes you pathetic and I can unfortunately vouch for that.

True. Especially in love, that selfishness is always in play, in varying degrees. Another unfortunate truth is that we sometimes trample on our self respect for our partners... sure, there’s a line we need to draw but majority of the times we let things slide just to make sure that everything is fine in a relationship.

Anu, could be seen as pathetic but then she did everything possible to get her love. I just feel sorry for her.
