I felt the line"Tumhe sach sunna achha nai lagta kya?" used by Maya to Rudra during her drunken act came back to her when Nandini said that both MayRa love each other..She was going all mad and got bit aggressive towards Nandini.

She can see.. that's why she is insecure. She thinks burying the face in the ground would solve all her problems. Commitment to appointed shaadi would not solve her problem.
