Yes they don't explore the actual fact instead show only romance. By the way has anyone watched Chandragupta Mourya from NDTV Imagine? It was one of the best itv historical drama I had seen and the Chanakya quotes were spot on. Sadly it went off air soon because the channel was closed.

True. Just romance. While romance is good, but in the historicals and periodicals, primary focus should be on warfares, history and court politics and not romance and kitchen politics. EK ko samjhaye koi yeh baat. Yes. I have seen that show. U r so right. It was one of the best historicals. They followed history and it was to the point, no unnecessary dragging. The stupid channel had to go off air. 😡 The actor who played Chanakya and the one who played Dhanananda were exemplary. Didn't like Chandragupta much though.

Yes. The show was still getting decent Trp among all other shows in channel. I too liked Chanakya more than Chandragupta. But nowdays I feel historical not accurate at all and can't be totally accurate. There is so much biasnes not only in itvs, even some shows from foreign channels. I use to lisen to BBc a lot in my early teens.

one day watching some documentary from BBC I was surprised how inaccurate information it was giving. I was so disappointed by it and later realised that almost all channels are biased and nowdays I can't enjoy history books and shows as it feels everything is fake.

Yeah here we can talk about non kkb stuff too like other shows we watch. Of course now fandom/ actor/ member's bashing but in the other threads we have to stick to a topic whereas in chat club we don't have to.

Yeah I'm keeping my hopes on things not being the way they seem. Prachi may just very well give a positive surprise and shock maya-rhea-aliya.

Jodha akbar at least did a better job at exploring historical and political side of akbar's mughal rule unlike chandra nandini. It was only later they started focusing only on romance and family drama in jodha akbar.
