What if HK is also in love (at the moment), but she's a pragmatist too. Maybe she does love him, and she knows they'll be able to make a name along with some money from this and she's doing this for both their benefits? Fame is short lived, and most celebs are looking to make hay while the sun shines.

As long as Asim has a voice (which he will, surely), there's nothing wrong in her looking out for both of them.

I'm in an Asim-positive mood today. I'm only going to look at the good side of everything. :)
