Deepika will not work with AB Sr, because didn't her PR accused him of groping her.

So the only oldie(once mainstream A list actor) who still has some credibility is Rishi Kapoor. So it is a logical decision.

Her PR never accused him of anything it was some rival actresses PR who knows it may have been churail jaisi Kangana who spread those rumours.

Deepika and Ranveer danced with Amitabh at Sonams wedding so there is no problem between them.

Deepika called Ranbir her favorite, after he cheated her. So dance with AB Sr, konsi baadi baat hai.

I don’t like Ranbir but bringing his dad to put him down is not good. Casting somebody doesn’t mean giving them work. SRK and Salman casted many senior actors on their PH movies. Salman casted Vinod Khanna on Dabangg but that doesn’t mean he was giving Vinod Khanna work. Deepika needs a senior actor on her movie and she casted Rishi on her movie. So there is nothing wrong with it and the Kapoor family doesn’t have any grudge against Deepika. She got married and she is still friend with Ranbir. So it’s better if you don’t insult Ranbir and his family just became Ranbir is DP’s ex. Rishi doesn’t need work now. He is a senior actor. He was fighting for cancer and he needs some rest now. He made enough money to live luxurious life without working and without earning money. So DP needs him on her movie because there are not many good senior actors left in the industry.

DP is not someone who hesitates to bow down for professional benefits, I guess AB sr was not considered for this role because of his deteriorating health condition. There was news that he was advised to take rest and lessen the professional commitments.
