Finalist/Winner contracts are common

Check out this tweet/conversation thread. She is a very well connected Bombay media person. She runs a fashion blog primarily, but is involved in alot of other things. She is also a noted body-positive/plussize spokesperson and knows many influential media people. She was one of the people involved in spreading that Shukla clip of him pinning down Sana when alot of blue ticks accused him of manhandling.

Worth noting:

- Money and exposure is HUGE in BB. There is a reason why everyone (even considered weak contestants with no hope of winning) is desperately trying to hang on week-by-week.

- Finalist/winner clauses are common.

- Entertainment media is quiet because it runs on PR money. Mainstream media is quiet because it looks down on shows like BB.

So, basically, its very likely that they couldn't kick Shukla out due to his contract saying he stays till the end. Plus, like someone posted recently, he is extremely well connected and liked by the channel (aka Manisha) so there might be another show on the works to cash in on his BB popularity. Also, maybe they couldn't bash him because they couldn't evict him, so they just supported him openly. And who knows, maybe even he has a clause in his contract that Salman won't bash him.

But for the finale, votes are audited as far as I know.

So winner clause may not be part of the contract.

Other than Sidharth, Rashmi may also have a finalist clause as she is also a big TV industry name.

Yeah i think from past few seasons ppl r aware of these special clauses. Also in the promo montage they have Asim n Sid in the front and Sana n Reshmi at the back of them and i suppose this is their top 4.

Also imo they have this finalist clause and that's y BB tends to be harsh with them if they feel the HM isn't giving the kind of content they expect. Like the case with Reshmi. They expected something else from her, but feel she isn't delivering n hence the cost taunts of not being seen or being weak.

But Rashmi has been eliminated once ...so i doubt she gas that in her contract

Although i feel Asim will come out the winner and this will end the bad publicity/bias tag of the channel

Maybe they had to bring Rashmi back due to the finalist clause...

Also she had signed a joint deal with Arhaan entering in between as wildcard as hinted by Salman in one WKW episode...

Though she was offered previous seasons as well, she decided to come this year to give Arhaan a good exposure as well..

Her main reason to enter was Arhan ... He was brought in twice ...probably 1 more time in family week

Whatever the girl said, is all right. We, journalists, know about it. I was the first person on the forum to speak about Sidharth and Manisha Sharma thing. Later, it got picked up by fans on Twitter and then media portals.

Colors always promotes it's actors. See, the TV industry is very fickle minded. All the channel heads care is about TRP.

Sidharth will be back on Colors in a fiction show after some time. Maybe a year but he will be back.
