Alu i agrée with you. It makes sense. I think with this leap happening, they will not be separated legally but they will be living separately.

After the leap we will see a sassy Sona, the old high esteem, self respect drawn, and sensible Sona.

Then once the truth is unveiled. Rohit will seek her forgiveness, Sona will suggest for them to take some time away before stepping back into it impulsively. After al this one thing they both will learn is that they stepped into marriage too soon. They should have dated and understood each other before taking the big step. Nevertheless they will then do that, the courtship period. Finally they will come back together, followed by consummation. Then again leap and separation with a kid. And the cycle will continue until the plugs are pulled off.
