Technically what is a FD? A safe bet which does not go down in value of principal or interest even when economy fluctuates.

So thats what clearly they meant Aarti is. Someone who will stay by Sid's side no matter what. There was nothing dirty about it. Aarti has time and again proved this is true and correct by always being Sid's tail in all decisions and votes. What it meant is she is another safe solid vote for Sidharth.

Delhi’ite and a Punjabi (half) - never heard this slang in my life. I’ve spent all my life here. Never ever heard someone use FD in any way- that Shukla is interpreting it.

Even Googled it for any dirty meaning- didn’t find it anywhere and believe me it had a weird meaning, it would be there. Even asked on r/Delhi and r/India If FD means anything bad- no one does. So atleast from the Delhi’ites I do know and the ones I asked on these Reditt subs- no one knows it.

Maybe you know some very special kind of people who use Financial terms as abuses!

As far as Delhi’ites I know don’t fall short of abuses ( totally filthy language if you ask me) that they will use financial words to abuse also!

So please don’t give this argument! It’s what Shukla and gang interpret then that’s their problem!

FD is a permanent fixture at best, something you’d depend on when you youre in need. At best- it’s about reliability and at worst it means a back up option, or Fall back option!

But adding these sexual connotations is nowhere implied!

Also don’t speak for everyone in Delhi or Punjabi’s please!

You aren’t a Supreme Court Chief Justice to pass your final judgements!
