Akshay back in the day didn’t do any great scripts like Ayushmam does.

Ayushman is definitely not Akshay.

Karthik sure is on the same path as Young Akki.

Ranbir is a reasonable actor as long as he is not being compared to the likes of Rajkumar Rao. RK is a lot more than the rest of the "actors" from his family. Actually, Rishi ain't bad, only his personality is intolerable.

I don't like Ranbir as a person (comes across as user, arrogant and entitled on top of it), but if I only watched movies of actors I liked, I wouldn't be watching ANY movies.

So yeah, there will be people like me who will watch.

As for Ranveer, he seems to be making smarter choices than RK. My feeling is that Ranveer will leave his competitors behind this year provided 83 becomes a hit. JJ also seems like a movie to watch for. But he ain't focusing on quality, which is a pity. In the long run, quality is what will help him stay.

Also, no. Ayushman is not the new Akki. These many years after his prime, Akki wouldn't dream of doing movies like Ayushman is doing. Plus, Ayushman knows how to act.
