What will his mother say? Fans are in power trip, they can say anything, how would it look his mother cheering his abuses? Moreover how would it look if she reprimands him for it and Shukla fans like Vindu abuse her? She knows her son and she has made the right choice...

Shukla has his many friends from the industry supporting him - does that not count as support or does it fall under a separate category? Friends & family support and fandom support are not mutually exclusive.

Everybody does not subscribe to the same behavioural template as family or friends. Some friends / families choose to support and some are not as vocal, and that doesn't make one better or worse.

Oh, and btw: guess who keeps demeaning Asim's family in every other conversation? If Shukla is allowed to talk about them, they certainly have every right to speak up for themselves.

Fandom? What about the celebs and critics who are openly voicing their opinions against the bias. ?
