That makes sense and it's the same for me. Even though Mickey and Bobby were older than Minnie, it had worked. Their relationship was believable and if they had eventually progressed to romance, I would've been fine with it. With Neil, there is something off. If they had wanted to go with someone mature for Minnie (I.e., someone in their late twenties versus early), that still would've made sense since Minnie would've sought out someone who is more mature and settled rather than flaky and still undecided.

I don't understand why it had to come at the cost of Hanita though. It's coming off as if a person can only have one thing in their life at a time. Earlier she had two parents and an idealistic belief in love. Then she had a single parent and no belief in love. Now, she has no parents (not counting Ashok), and is all pyaar ki maari?

They could've kept Hanita around and worked through their problems. They could've been a prime example for Minnie on how to love someone despite their faults. They don't need to be perfect, or impeccable in something. Imperfections and flaws are okay to have. It is still possible to live a happy life despite not having too many ambitions. If Minnie wants to have them, great! But she needed to accept that not everyone is like her nor do they need to strive to be. I think this is a lesson that she still hasn't been able to learn as of yet.

Hanita + Ranjhana + Simplicity = Pure Love

This was the closest we got to a machardani romance. 🤣 Am missing them so much now 😭😭😭

Once upon a time this show used to be so realistic that they even showed HS holding what looks very much like a real mosquito. That shot floored me when I first watched this scene.

Ugh...

Miss you, Gur. How are things?

Right?! I just noticed the machar today when I saw this clip. This show truly used to be something back in the day.

I miss you too Jean!!! 🤗🤗

Spain has been keeping me busy. Am currently down with a flu and fever so I hope to recover from that soon. How have you been? It's been a while since you've been here no?

Hello everyone .....Remember me?

Came here after long time and seeing everyone of the old gang made me really happy. I missed you all.🤗

Saw a clip of Mini and Neil in this thread. It's just🤢. I never thought Ashnoor's parents would agree to show their minor daughter in bed with a man almost double her age . 😕 No wonder crime rate against children is this high in our country. God save us Indians. 😔

Glad to know you have settled in Spain Gur. Get well soon.🤗

So true. IDK why these writers chose mediocrity instead of something fresh.
