Ya while saying it he was controlling his emotions..mayb he feels she is with him bec of sidnaaz tag ..he feels this more after her paras attachment chant again ..thats where i feel he was put off ..
But i think sana ka breakdown post aarti saga might help to some extent as he can see how much she gets affected emotionally..
