Hi all I am new here!
I have logged onto IF after 6 years! I was a regular here and watched many K serials and other shows before getting busy with work/life and also decided to stop myself from getting too attached to any shows.
I saw the promo for Beyhadh 2 and was really intrigued but did not manage to start watching it when it started. I then saw the promo of MayRa office cake scene and boooooy Shivin really caught my eye! ❤️I binge watched the episodes and have been hooked ever since – so hooked that I decided to log on here after all these years.
Coming to the show I wanted to share some of my thoughts here…
The past – I know many of you have discussed that MJ may have been Mayas lover/father of her baby but I really hope this is not the case. Its just wrong for her to be romancing the father and his sons – MJ is old enough to be her father. It wont sit right with many viewers. I really hope the CVs have thought this through and whatever they have based the revenge story on is as interesting (and logical) as they are making it out to be. MayRa are definitely connected in the past, if this was a K serial the obvious guess would be Rudra has suffered memory loss but we know the story wont go down that route. Im really interested to see how the story unfolds and the explanation behind the bracelet, the man in the picture with Maya (which looks a lot like Rudra,the same physique and hands) and the whole truth behind Mayas reason for revenge are.
Rudra – or bahu rani as some of you have aptly named him 😆. Poor guy has to deal with everyone elses problems including his own past demons. I have really high hopes for this character I just hope he isn’t butchered and turned into a cheater or worse killed off too soon. Going by the past few episodes it seems Rudra may be suspecting something about Maya. When he went to find Rishi did he see her car? The shot after Maya drives off shows Rudra standing and almost like he was looking over the edge of the roof he then looks at Rishi in shock – was it shock of his death and/or shock of seeing Maya there? How is he so confident that Rishis GF was there when he slit his wrist? Those deep looks he gave Maya when he was talking to her in her house as if trying to read her expressions. Some are predicting Rudra may turn dark, its highly possible and has so much potential for the story ahead - Rudra playing Maya at her own game bring it on!! 👏 Shivin is an absolute treat to watch onscreen especially the cute, funny and romantic (hot ☺️) scenes but he plays the angry young man really well and I feel it is in those scenes where he truly excels as an actor, the sharp look in his eyes and voice modulation are bang on! Actor wise Shivin is the surprise package for me so far, I think someone on Twitter rightly said he is not only playing the character of Rudra but totally owning it and I could not agree more 😎.
Maya – all im going to say is there better be a good enough explanation for this revenge and years of planning. Jennifer is a gem of an actor as im sure everyone will agree, she has brought Maya alive, the story just needs to be as strong as the characters now. So her next target is Rudra –she will kill him with love by making him fall for her so hard – junoon wala ishq where it will lead to his own destruction – at least that is what she is planning. He is already so emotionally dependent on her so she is not far off from her target, she just has to control her own feelings for him in the process. I want to know what she messaged him after finding out about his engagement, he reads the message looking a bit surprised, calls her and says he needs to talk so he is coming. Rudra then standing outside her door wonders if she has the same feelings as him, if she didn’t then why would she message him? Maya knew Rudra was coming so why did she look like she was not expecting him there and almost hesitantly opened the door. Is this a flaw in the script or were these two messaging/calling other people? 🤔
Ananya – I liked this character but she has become the annoying third wheel. Heres hoping CVs give her the brains to step back from this wedding and stop reminding Rudra how much she loves him at every given opportunity . She has rightfully discovered Maya was Rishis GF but if she decides to expose Maya without any solid proof then we know how well this will go down with Rudra… for now Ananya is posing as another obstacle in Mayas revenge plan. Maya saw Ananya spying on Rudra outside her house, Rudra was walking in the same direction – did he not spot the car? Ananya says she is his childhood friend and knows him well - how does she not know about his ex GF and what happened in the past between him and MJ? The story and their friendship is too contradictory.
MJ-Antara-Diya – The less I say the better on here 🤢
Editing/Script – CVs if you ever read this then please spend some time focusing on the editing of the episodes. The script has also been a let-down so far in many scenes. Especially the scene before the kiss between MayRa when Rudra then Ankit appear in her bedroom – I know its already been discussed so I wont go into detail. The scene where Rudra breaks the table, one shot he is holding his drink in his right hand next second he is breaking the table with the same hand and holding the drink in the other. Scene where Maya takes him inside her house, Rudra has his sleeves rolled up but in the close up shot his sleeves are rolled down fully. It may seem like nit picking but when it is important scenes these flaws stick out like a sore thumb, you cant help notice it and it just ruins the connectivity with the scene. In the race for TRPs I hope the CVs do not lack on the quality of the episodes going forward. Why oh why has no one questioned the urgency and timing of the wedding? The engagement was planned on the same day Rudra proposed – no explanation as to why so im thinking we will also get no reason as to why the wedding is still going ahead. Again is this deliberate or a flaw in the script?
Looking ahead it seems the wedding is going ahead at full speed 🤪 – Maya gives the daaga to Rudra according to an off screen pic on Insta of Shivin and Rajeev im pretty sure Shivin is wearing the red daaga plus they are sat in Mayas house 😉. Intrigued as to how the story will unfold but at the same time disappointed with how the CVs are handling it all so far. The show has an outstanding cast with each one playing their characters with conviction. CVS dont let them or the viewers down pleeeease!
Last but not the least - ShivJen ☺️ their chemistry is sizzling both actors are so on par with each other. The kiss scene was shot really well but how hot was the scene of Maya pulling him inside the house - just that small movement was enough to get me blushing imagine actual romantic scenes between them?
