(Jodha was walking towards Jalal who was standing with Rukaiya talking with her, she didn't wanted to accompany them for hunting, she never appreciate the hunt of animals for sheer amusement or fun, however she knew well to not say no to Jalal, she knew and she was well aware of the fact, that Mughals who are descendents of Chengez Khan ,Taimur Lang , are very fond of hunting (shikar) and followed the rules framed by their ancestors. They infact followed the rules laid down by them even in the hunting parties.' Almost all the great Mughals were fond of this game, Jalal her husband was no different, given a chance to choose other royal engagement and hunting, he will choose Hunting game for pastime. However she knew one more thing hunting isn't only about paying visit in Forest and hunt the animals there. For her husband Hunting was also used as a means of enquiring into the condition of people, to increase his knowledge always makes hunting a means of increasing his knowledge, besides about his subject or armies, there won't much noise would be made for his hunting trip, either it will always be surprised for everyone for security purposes and ofcourse for his own intention to find about his people, He travels in cognition and examines into matters referring to taxation or to sayurghal lands, or to affairs connected with the household. On account of these higher reasons he will indulges in the chase and shows himself quite enamoured of it. And it will be foolish on Jodha part if she miss the opportunity to see his ways. Hence here she was ready to accompany them).
"Greetings Queen Jodha"! If it's up-to you"? Which weapon will you prefer for hunting"? I often go by this"!..

(Jalal glance at Jodha with unreadable expression listening her answer, however Rukaiya didn't stay silent she immidately spoke, as soon she heard the choice of weapon Jodha prefer for hunting. It was her way to put her down however she understimate Jodha. She noticed how even after arriving she ignored her royally, she didn't acknowledge her presence at all. As if she's isn't there and Rukaiya won't admit but it was humiliating for her, however she sense the ignorance of Jalal in this matter to, in her view, even he doesn't mind it even though he must be aware of it).
"Spear"? That's not going to work on wild and giant animal's"!

(That's sharp tounge, did she know the consequence of being so bold with Rukaiya"? Thought Jalal inwardly entirely amused, ofcourse he noticed how Rukaiya didn't greet Jodha, how Jodha didn't t even acknowledge Rukaiya presence. These two women are answering each other in own way, even though he don't appreciate such a gesture openly, but it will be lie to admit Jalal mind it , because he doesn't mind it however he knew better, not to waste his time by engaging himself in ladies fight. But she didn't take it back at all, she had seen many Elephant in her life but one two could impressed her, one Ramprasad the mighty favourite Elephant of Mewar Prince Maharana Pratap, she always though no other elephant could be like Ramprasad, but Hawaii it's seem different but in good way, Ramprasad is to loyal to Pratap to even let anyone near , just like his horse Chetak who won't let anyone else ride on back, but Hawaii it didn't back or turn when she made move to touch , it's impressed her very much ,she always had things for pet's her own horse subhrak , she was lost looking at it's features. She didn't realise Jalal standing behind her observing her. By her softened facial expressions, amazed smile Jalal knew she's impressed by his favourite pet. However her attention on Hawaii didn't settled well with him either, even though he like the way she pay attention to everything related to him. Still he never understand why it's stung in small part of heart).
"Sometimes grace us by one glance to"!

(No one could hunt or interfere when emperor come for hunting hence, the drum beaters the hunters the soldiers all were silently moving with the Emperor , the Royal troop was deep in forest area , which was known for Tigers territory, Jalal was having his hand fix on gun, even though he was alert it wasn't known to the person sitting ahead of him at sides, Rukaiya being very interested in Hunting was egear to use her gun. her intention was however more than hunting her prey, she was indeed very egear and alert meanwhile Jodha was alert only for self Defence, she wasn't much intrested in hunting, however knowing they're under Tiger's territory , she was alert in case the Attack happen anytime by any direction. The only problem for Jodha was she was on Elephant as Both Queen were sitting inside the Howdah a canopied seat made by strong wood , well worked secure by all sides with door , of right and left side, it was well arranged for sitting purpose, the forged wall at side, the pillar for canopy serve good privacy and security to royal. And even though she went for hunting, before in Amer she's isn't habitual, to hunt by sitting on Elephant. Infact she wasn't certain that she can take advantage of Height because of such a well secure Howdah. Best in horse riding and speed lover she wasn't liking the slow heavy swaying step of Elephant, even though she was very much into traveling by sitting on Elephant, after all the Rajput royal were were known for traveling on Elephants, however when it's comes to war or Hunting she prefer her horse. Another thing was he wasn't able to fix her hand on the weapon, the silence cool breeze the fragrance of beautiful nature in forest , was very alluring for her. She felt fresh by heart and mind, but soon she comes out of alluring nature fragrance, when she sense odd movement of Elephant, his ear perked up as he made sound. Sighing inwardly Jodha glance around, A very large tiger came out from the wood, by right side and made a way towards the elephant. She didn't even moved, forget about aiming her gun towards the tiger, he growled loudly then with a loud cry leap forward on Elephant, a loud Voice of gun shot echo's in forest, the tiger fall back on ground with shrill painful cry, for a while no one move, no one said anything everything become still a deadly silence prevailed in forest. But after minutes The hunt'smen move to check on tiger. It's really dead or not, reaching close slowly the Hunt's men was about to bend down to check when the tiger growled and moved forward making the huntsmen run back however one of them fall on ground, when the tiger Speed up and jump over him. But before the tiger could kill the men, a spear was shot on his neck, he whimpered and fall by side dead. The men look up thanking the Almighty he noticed a bullet mark on Tiger's right Earlobe. He announced loudly by giving brief description about the bullet shot and spear shot. Rukaiya glared at Jodha, which she doesn't even acknowledge never in her life Rukaiya missed the shot but today, even though she hit the tiger by her gun , but it wasn't enough to kill the tiger. she didn't get to kill it, the tiger wasn't hunt down by her, the tiger died by Queen Jodha spear shot. The spear weapon"? Which she so casually said it , to be useless when it's comes to kill Giant wild animals. Was it Queen Jodha's way to answer her"? Of-course it had to be. But then she noticed another thing, it had underlying meaning, when she shot the tiger, the moment she realised the message, she glared at Jodha then she tilted her head to look at Jalal , who didn't said anything at all. His face was unreadable and she didn't knew ,what he's thinking, ofcourse no one can understand ,what's goes up in his head. They move forward, more into the wild beast territory, this time Rukaiya was more attentive , she didn't even wanted to give Chance to Jodha to hit the next prey. But the fate had other plans this time it was Leopard and it wasn't on ground but over up on Tree, even though the animals sense the danger they didn't knew the direction of danger, almost entire troop was aware of the fact, that the predator is around them. But where they knew not, they were looking down Rukaiya to was glancing around looking down but didn't succeed in sighting the Predator by her eyes. She watched Jodha, her action and got more alert. Soon enough the loud Voice of gun shot Echos again in air, with a gasp and loud growl the Leapord fall flat on ground, an arm length away from Elephant they are sitting on. Everyone let out a gasp and release the breath they held , by being down they, saw when the Leapord leap forward down from tree branches , towards the left side of Elephant, they wanted to yell but before they could, a bullet was shot and they saw the fall of Leopard, keeping the previous incident in mind the huntsman this time took a bit time to check on Leopard, when they did they found it dead, a bullet was shot in Forehead at centre. Most clean and quick death. They happily annouce the success, of well shot bullet , sensing Bone chilling gaze at her left. Gulping inaudiably she knew it won't be easy to shot on left side by spear, as it's need to move from right and back, with Rukaiya on right Jalal behind it's hard to do so. Hence she fixed her hand on Gun this time, hit the leopard when she sensed the air, getting speedy around her, she shot the Leopard without paying a glance at Leopard way. She done her job of answering Rukaiya, by killing the tiger by her spear shot. This time she honoured the gift Given by Queen Salima when she advised her not to let the golden opportunity wasted, the moment she agree to accompany Jalal for hunting. Salima gifted her the Musket, She hoped it's enough however , but she knew it's not , the hunting trip isn't over yet. With a grim expression on face and saddened heart Jodha. Glanced at her hands, a voice re rang in her brain, "You're blessed with skilled hands of healer"! Never let them get dirty by committing Sin"! The words which will made her heart flutter with joy and gave peace to her heart in past, the same words now made her shudder with guilt, engulf her heart by deep sorrow. "I commited a sin, I taken lives of two beautiful creation of Almighty"!).
"Well done Queen Jodha"! What a shot"! "you proven yourself an intriguing Hunter"!
(Is that a question"? Didn't she hunt you down already by herself"? Pity you still don't know you're prey of her beauty or persona"!. Mused his heart he was watching the action of his both queen's, he to was surprised by Rukaiya, but he was highly impressed by Jodha. In his view She proven her point by word by action, it's up-to people which one they prefer to understand. She didn't move not even cent percent when she saw it, but she didn't wasted a second to shot it, when she saw the men in danger. The leopard to it wasn't even near her way, the direction it was coming, was danger bell for him not her yet she didn't wasted a second to shot it down. But more than her speed this time it was her way, she didn't even casted a glance at Leopard but she shot it correctly. As if saying "I may not look attentive"! but I am always alert about my surroundings"! Don't try to mess with me or you won't know what's coming on your way"! Ya Allah"! What a women "! however being warrior he knew her hitting the leopard without glancing, wasn't coincidence either, she seems trained in fighting with eyes closed, oh another reason for him to admire her, didn't saw her fighting with blindfold on, but he will love to watch it for sure However it won't be surprised if he did saw her fighting with blindfold on. Cause he knew she's trained in it. But then he sensed little change in her body posture. What's wrong"? Cause of her looking ahead he couldn't sense what's going on with her, however he knew something isn't right. But he cannot ask right away, however he was bored now, more then them he love hunting how come he can just sit and watch"?. He gesture his men to move ahead, with this they rode further. Over the time he come to know her, he knew she's lady of virtue and Skill, if there's something she won't like she will openly confess about it, no matter what not verbally then by action today to she did the same, many more wild beast in forest become their prey, however Jodha didn't hunt many of them. And understanding Her despair regarding hunting, Jalal took the lead and hunt most of wild beast, for him she did proven herself expert Hunter. There was another reason he wanted to Impress her as well, hence he shot few wild beast without glancing at their way just like her, obviously making her amazed. They planned the hunting trip for four days hence , as soon the Sunsets they call for break, as per pre-planned for break the tent was set up. Rukaiya was the first to get down Jalal second, as if like a host he wanted to help Jodha in getting down as well, which he did stepping down he waited for Jodha to make a move to get down when he saw her stepping over the saddled he moved closer, Jodha saw him down, she blushed at the sight of him staring up at her, she enjoyed the attention she got at first she was uncomfortable but the hunting trip changed things , she got confident and firm hence this time with blush there was firm smile as well, however while stepping down one end length of Dupatta got under her feet over the saddle, she lost her balance and before she could grip the rope to prevent herself from falling down, but a panic Yelp escape from her mouth, the moment she realised, her hand failed to get hold on anything, she closed her eyes anticipating painful fall, but then she found herself in air, she didn't felt any pain either, opening her Eyes Jodha saw herself in Jalal arms, her veil was down already which made her face bare to him, he was staring at her with amused smile).
"You indeed fancy the idea of being in my arms"!
(She opened her mouth retort, but closed it, without saying anything she was to embarassed to say anything either, her ear perked up when she heard the sound of low stiffle laughter. she was gripping his shoulder by having her both hand clutching his Jama, Jalal to realise their place hence he made her stand on her feet steadily but slowly. She retreat a step back then Setting her veil back she thank Jalal for saving her by preventing her epic fall. About to walk away but Jalal stopped her by holding her wrist).
"Let me escort you to your tent"!.
"No that's enough for day"! You already put me in hateful position among the people"!.
"Well what to do don't want many admirer for you"! Even if they happen to be ladies"!..besides I know you can woo them"!
(Jalal knew by hateful what she mean, his actions going to cause her trouble for sure. A little bit closer and he threw the dagger aiming at the man's right leg causing him to drop to the ground. By the time he reached near, drawing his sword out the man was already dead. Froth oozed out from his mouth, he had taken a poison. "Oh lord A trap"! Jalal's heart leapt into his mouth as he realized it. "Jodha"!..It was all he could think at that moment, he shouldn't have left her alone. He turned back only to find a man standing at the same spot, where Jodha stood a minute before. While Jodha stood in front--her back turned towards Jalal. Fearful he raced back to be at her side , only to find the man was not able to move. A dagger tore through his wrist and now dug deeper in the tree trunk, as blood dripped down his injured wrist. Whereas Jodha continued to watch him, from safe distance as the man tried to free his hand).
"I wouldn't do that if I were you"!..."Because if you draw the dagger out"! "it will tear apart you veins and you will bleed to death"
(Spoke Jodha her voice was void of warmth and emotion, it was cold stern firm, as cruelly She informed the men further about the consequence, for the first time Jalal could see the cold blooded warrior in her , devoid of any emotions and sensitivity).
"Do you need him for questioning"?
(Asked Jodha turning to Jalal , who was busy watching her. He could see the warmth, returning to her eyes. his temper rising against his enemy , as his worry for Jodha started to subside. "Because of bleeding?"
"Or because of poison"! if he manages not to tear off his wrist"!...the dagger is poisoned"!

(She smiled as she watched Jalal curiousity, the questioning frown deeper on his forehead. But then she watch he realised how, ofcourse he couldn't forget when first time she manage to take his dagger out to attack him. He was Lucky enough to escape. Or else, chuckling he spoke again this time).
"A curious way to kill a man"!. "I would have preferred a clean death"! But what you did back there is so..."
( Jalal stopped in middle thinking he might be going too far. After all the men who come after her had no good intention either, infact if he manage to even laid his finger on her hair. Jalal himself don't know how he would killed him by by bit. But Jodha finished it for him. Not getting offended in any manner).
"Cruel? Is it? I guess that man wished me no good either"! You know he understimate me just like the first men who died at my hands"! When was the first time you killed someone"?

(Jalal ordered the ever present giant who came forward at his orders. He followed Jalal like a shadow everywhere. Jodha doesn't trust much people, however with Zahir she always felt something unnerving. She wondered inwardly, "where he had disappeared "? when we were attacked a while ago"? But then she obeyed Jalal words. And followed Zahir).

(Spoke Salima with mischievous glint shinned in her eyes, As she walked with Jodha to her palace. Her words made Jodha smiled, The hunting trip got discontinued, because Jalal end up leaving for Merta. Few days later he was mean to leave for Chunar. But the revolt in Merta become headache and the time it was reported to him from Abdul, it was to late to delayed. Hence he left from the hunting trip to march for Merta. Both Empress end up coming back with his most trustworthy General and Men. Almost entire Harem ladies were complimenting her, she was highly impressed but she knew better, not to think highly of herself, so soon hence she was keeping her emotion and action in check.
