I kinda agree with TM she shouldn’t have brought that topic with kids. But at the same time she didn’t go to an extent of maligning...she kept it decent.

I agree with this. I like Rashmi but that was not cool. She kept stressing on if their dad will give her permission to meet, and then again said he has mood swings sarcastically. Why make the kids feel uncomfortable with your bullshit grudge that they probably don't even understand? Totally uncool.
I agree..she shouldnt have said those things to the kids. I get why she did it..she was sort of appealing to her brother and telling him indirectly that he let her down by not showing up . But she shouldnt have done that. Not nice to bring kids into the drama between adults.
Also..i didnt like what the kids did! Siddharth uncle blah blah. They can greet him and hug him..theyre kids and they dont have to bear grudges on their aunts behalf but there was no need for them to make her hug Shukla. It looked like they were parroting lines they were taught like 'dosti kaam aati hai meri bhi dosti etc". The boy asks "aapne Sidharth uncle se dosti kyon tod di? " Didnt they see their aunt being called a wh 0re on tv by Siddarth uncle? Okay they re kids they wouldnt get the innuendo but theyre old enough to see that Shukla treats Rashmi with utter disrespect. I think Rashmi's brother is a sellout who let the kids say whatever the channel wanted them to say. Sorry but i didnt like the kids..they acted as if they had been trained .
Later when Rashmi thanked Shukla for paying the kids a compliment("theyve been raised well " oh the irony! ) he says " is mein mera koi haath nahi tha why are u thanking me " LOL . he has no concept of manners...he genuinely didnt get why she thanked him.
Even I agree dt she shouldn't hv said all dt but it wasn't said in a maligning kind of way .
Lot of people actually talk like dt about der siblings. ....Teri mummy ko toh meri koi aadat achi nai lagti....tere Papa toh humesa mujhse jhagadte Hain......it's very common among sibling and people usually say it to children only. Jhagda har kahin hota hai..... but she didn't say anything bad about der father / her brother ....nor did she say he was wrong.
Still I feel it wasn't ok to say it.
I agree she shouldn't have said that.Their parents did send them to meet her. So cant be that bad. I just hope Rashmi makes up with her family once she is out. Family is very important in any one's life.
It felt odd, listening to something that was deeply personal and not connected to the show. She could have done without opening that can of worms.
But, they were kids! They did not understand the dynamics of the show. Their dialogues looked well rehearsed. So, all she could actually talk to them about was the mutual subject of family.
And we saw only a snippet of the conversation between them, not the before and after. Maybe the children were discussing something like why doesn't she meet them often! In whichever case, the subject of her brother would have come out.
Another thing I personally felt was that her words appeared rude when spoken in english. When Rashmi reverted to hindi, and said something like...tere pappa hai na.. it looked natural like a sibling fight IMO.
I noticed it too . There was no need to do that convo , poor kid Boy was trying to avoid the convo by saying that I don’t know the equation between you two .
