it is not just about beyhadh but the culture itself thinks sex is a taboo, especially among unmarried couples. I wish the niche shows would try to break the barriers and normalize it.

Yeah. It would be a natural thing but in ITV sex/consummation equals purity and some divine thing so they won't tarnish it with anything pre marital but it did been a great romantic and power move by Maya.
