83 isn't her film. It doesn't need her contribution to be a success.

And why does she need to "bounce back"? Whatever is happening to her is pretty natural. Post 2015, she has reduced working upto 1 movie every 2-3 years, so people are forgetting her. Of course in her absence the next candidate has taken up her place. Baat khatam. Even if she does "bounce back", how much longer can she sustain it? She is married & already 34. 2-3 years at max it is. There's really no need to "bounce back". She can continue doing movies in leisure time like she is doing now & focus more on her apparel line & other investments for an independent & successful 2nd innings in her life.

Katrina had more role in most of her movies than DP would have in 83 but those aren’t Kat movies but 83 is DP movie 🤪.

If she didn't prove a "box office draw" when she was the main protagonist, how is she going to prove it when she has a small role in a Ranveer Singh film?? Doesn't make sense to me.

We need to accept the fact that either she is not the box office draw we all thought she was or that box office draw is largely a myth and it's always based on the entire project and the buzz around it, not all just on one star. I go with the latter.

Madamji is now giving interviews calling Chhapak a hit movie.
