Quick recap of her thought process. Skip it if you don't wanna read:
Sana, as we all know, is all about feedback. She started 'liking' Paras, but somewhere she knew the idea is to keep people on their toes. Paras had the Mahira situation too, so flipper Sana was born! Throughout the entire season, she flipped left and right based on how Salman treated people. He always favored her, and somewhere, that was also assurance to her that she is doing well. The first time Sana was slightly bashed was when she left Shuklapur. Even Gautam Gulati was specifically brought in to pacify the situation. After Sana/Shukla got together again, Asim tensions started and the next couple of weeks was completely about Shukla vs Asim in the house. Sana took a backseat.
After the fight settled, house was totally different dynamics-wise. Himanshi was on Asim's side so flipping was out of the question. Slowly, Sana realized saying nice things about Himanshi impresses Salman, so she started being nice to her in little moments on weekends (like galat fehmi ke gubbare, and other random non-consequential tasks like that). Himanshi left and Sana was once again everybody's laadli. VG told her about SidNaaz popularity, and Sana completely dove in. She realized that she can't just do jhappi-pappi all the time, so she started the daily roothna-manana story. Aisehee chalta raha and her cockiness hit a new level when the comedy club (with the rigged audience) and the Deepika wala ride gave her indication that she was super famous. Of course, she thought it was SIDNAAZ that was famous, not Shehnaaz, so lage rahee. Then, THE weekend episode last week happened and 2 things became clear to her:
- She is not above Salman's scoldings
- She is not as indispensable as she thought
---
Okay, so fast forward to this week.
In her mind, Salman told her to stop acting like a kid but the SidNaaz thing only works because she keeps getting mad at him and again patching up - which itself is kiddish. Plus, Shukla was becoming visibly irritated with the roz ka getting angry. So, she was a little lost and went full psycho on Monday. The next day Shukla very maturely (credit where its due) explained to her why she shouldn't get attached. Basically, he had a version of the break-up talk. This scared her because she knows SidNaaz is big and the secret room wala week exposed the fact that she is lost footage wise without Shukla. Mahira looked like a better player than her without Paras/Shukla in the house. In fact, even Salman himself told her she is lost without Shukla that weekend and did the eviction wala prank. Now that Shukla has told her they should keep some distance, she's not showing it but she's in panic mode. She needs a new blueprint to follow because the roz ka roothna-manana is not gonna cut it.
My theory is - she found a new blueprint! Asim! He rocked the comedy club task as well, which was audience vote based. Plus, he hasn't been in the bottom group at all this season. Her whole tone has changed. Two weeks ago tak she used to tell people Asim is dumb, doesn't know the game at all, learned a little bit from Shukla and now thinks he is winner material. Now, she is suddenly all praises about Asim. Like I said above, this girl works on feedback!
One moment that stuck out to me - she praised Asim infront of Asim, Aarti and Vishal saying 'at least bandey ki stand toh hai' when he refused to make Shefali parathas. See, Shukla is not giving bhav like he used to. Paras is old news - he has Mahira plus lots of raita has failao'd plus he's not coming across like a winner. Love angle with Asim ka toh no chance - he has made it clear in the show that he loved a woman and has stayed true to his word not only after her rejection, but also consistently after her eviction. He is not the type to do kumbal dangal for footage. So she is now trying to catch patterns in Asim's game and use it herself since she knows whatever Asim is doing is working. Asim has a rivalry with Shefali that he just can't stand. So, now she wants that. A rivalry with someone - NOT Mahira, because that comes with Paras, who comes with Shukla implications. So, who is the scapegoat? The guy who defended Asim to make him the elite club winner against her a day ago - Vishal. Hence, she nonsensically supported Madhu today against the entire house (Shukla just wanted to eat and make fun of both, everyone else cared about Vishal).
Its not a bad move, but its working against her for two reasons. Ek toh she is looking heartless by laughing at a man's national embarrassment (something we all know Asim would NEVER do if Shefali was in that position). Secondly, she has no real reason to hate Vishal like Asim hates Shefali. In fact all those times when Sana/Shukla had issues, it was Vishal himself who was there for her. So this is making her look extremely unlikable, whether the channel wants to portray it that way or not.
There is still time to fix her game. Salman ka hint went over her head. Even Hina advised her to play for herself, which is causing her to look around for inspiration. Now, papa Gill will tell her she is very close to the trophy. Basically the makers are repeatedly screaming to Sana that she can win without SidNaaz drama. With only 3 weeks left, next week will be extremely crucial for her.
Three ways to go:
- Shukla puja continues: She looks like a Doormat
- Unfounded rivalry/rivalries continues: She looks Negative
- She plays for herself positively and impresses people: She looks like a winner & channel supports her
Yeh hai mera theory lol. Thoughts?
