What the actual heck? Why more killing - everyone has died at least once and now just before the finale more killing and dying?

So after consummation separation? That’s just dumb!!!!! Can they not do something different and have two leads fight against the evil? But no it’s Gul and for some weird reason she loves angst - I do get at times it’s needed and I welcome it but it has to make sense. They killed roshni, kabir, baazigar, and now aman? How dumb!!!!
