Am here to rant. So there were a bunch of you who were talking about YOU (Netflix show) over here some weeks back? I've been binge watching shows this past week and decided to try that...
WHAT A MESSED UP LITTLE SHOW! Oh God! Not saying it isn't made well, cause it is. Hence, me being so creeped out. The fact that the narrator is basically telling you all his thoughts in such a casual manner, his psychotic, obsessive thoughts to be specific...I think that's what works best for the show. He almost sounds reasonable in his ranting at times and that's the scary. Cause at times you nod along before remembering what a psycho he is. He talks about romanticism and has no qualms about justifying anything he does in the name of "louuu"....
I've seen only season 1 btw. Season 2 sounds like more of the same. So not bothering.
I also caught THE WITCHER. And the storyline is so damned intriguing. Also, HENRY CAVILL WITH PLATINUM BLONDE HAIR (I can't even...)
What I didn't like was how choppy the editing was. Kinda abrupt jumps from one scene to another. But eagerly waiting for Season 2!!!

Oh yeah! But I think that’s what YOU gets right. They have this normal regular ( maybe good looking guy) simple sweet on the surface being a total psychopath. The way he explains his actions and justifies them through this thought process is what’s fascinating. It’s disturbing but it’s also true- that psychopaths don’t look like pyschopaths and a lot of them have this saviour complex.

That’s one of the good things about Shehnaz, not only Asim, she was correctly praising Rashmi’s performance too. And she doesn’t just say acha tha etc, she goes further and says stuff like next level or badhiya etc.
