People here love to connect this show's characters with Mahabharat characters so I too will connect Maya with one Mahabharat character- Shakuni!

Shankuni's family too was killed mercilessly by Dhritarashtra and Shakuni decided to take revenge by ruining the entire Kauravas and Pandavas clan by planning, plotting and breaking the families. He knew in the end he is going to die but before his death, he said that his main goal of breaking the families and taking revenge for what his own family had gone through is fulfilled. He knew his plan will make many innocent people lose their lives yet he went ahead with it because he was so blind with revenge, anger and hatred.

Today Maya proved that she is the Shakuni of the show. She too lost her family so has gone equally blind with hatred and anger. Today one innocent life was lost because of her revenge. I really hope she too meets the same fate as Shakuni did and I hope she dies from the hands of Rudra as that's going to be her biggest punishment.

In the end I will say only one thing. Killing an innocent person or making an innocent person lose his life for what his/her family member did is not right. Period!

Killing is not right Period. Even if that person did something horribly wrong. You want revenge, if you can't lawfully do it, make that person bend such that he will never recover. Go take away his property, his business, his power. Turn his family against him. Thriller means playing with minds not with blood. If she really did kill, she won't have anybody's sympathy. Play with their hearts, play with their minds and play against their weaknesses. If you wanna kill someone then kill the culprit directly and be done with it. No need for drama or revenge plot. smiley36smiley39

If she did some way send the message to Rudra to save Rishi, I will take that as her planning to further use Rishi. This will lead greater wedge between MJ and entire family. Straight forward suicide cum murder is no plan. She should have made the cut such that he fainted due to loss of blood but not nearly enough to die any time soon.

I still have hope that Rishi is not dead.even if they show him dead , they should somehow bring him back from dead like in so many Ekta soaps.if not ,it’s complete character assassin of Maya. No one can relate to Maya .She has grey shades but I am not sure they will show her in complete black. In season 1 even though Maya killed many , ppl still felt for her and connected to her.

She is all of these in different situations and context.

She has assumed roles akin to Krishna guiding Rudra, her Arjun, empowering him. The way he conquered the panic attack in the lift and then handled the press conference in the end is testament to it.

Again she has been Draupadi in this battle too. Her insult led to the Mahabharata and Mayas insult has led to BH 2 Mahabharata. Her good deed of helping the eunuchs (who are deemed special by Krishna) came to her aid much like Draupadi tying a piece of cloth on Krishnas bleeding finger came to her aid. She is also a lover like Draupadi who loved Arjun the most but they never could be solely each others. Foreshadows for MayRa? Maybe.

Yes she is Shakuni too. Filled with hatred and anger, her only mission is to destroy the Roys. Shakuni knowing that his steps would end with his own death took those steps to avenge his family's loss and his biggest weapon was Duryodhan, his arch enemies son. Much like Maya is using her arch enemies sons.

Having said this, I still believe nothing can justify killing people. I don't know how cvs plan to make sense of this.

it is fictional show, people are allowed to judge. the reality here is rishi paid the ultimate price not MJ. it was senseless murder and should not be justified. Killing of innocents is never okay under any circumstances.

rishi paid the price for his obsession and MJ misdeeds sometime the only way a person understand pain is by going through similar faith that he led to many other people. It's called Karma catching up on you. The game is against MJ and Maya and they both don't have a concise Maya lost her when she lost everything good in her life because of MJ and MJ has no concise because he thinks himself as God

Rishi, the idiot fell for maya and refused to see anything else. so he paid the price by dying. what you call pain is actually death, it is final and he won't ever see the result of his stupid obsession. what exactly did he do to harm maya or anyone else. The boy fall in love and karma caught up to him> karma catches up to when you harm others, but rishi was collateral damage here. Just like civilians who die during war. Maya also has a god complex, as she thinks life and death are in her hands aan she is becoming the person she hates. I get why maya did what she did but people need to stop justifying or glorifying a senseless murder.
